I contacted 4 different garage repair companies, but A1 Garage Door Service technicians were available the same morning I called. Mitch came to my house within 2 hours to inspect the problem with my garage door that couldn’t be opened. The repair was a “piece of cake”, he replaced the broken springs within another hour and the price for the job done was cheap. We lubricated the springs and the garage door opens much easier than before.

When my garage door stopped responding I contacted several garage door companies and explained the issue. They all told me I have broken springs, which needed to be replaced, but their prices were very different for the job. I chose A1 Garage Door Service because they offered the best price and promised to come the next day. Their technician Domike was a very pleasant guy, who came tomorrow morning and replaced the broken springs very quickly. Thanks man!

I had broken springs on my garage door and I wasted some time in calling several places that fix garage doors, untill a friend of mine recommended A1 Garage Door Service. I made a call and their customer service was very professional and straight forward about the price for the repair. So we scheduled an appointment for the next day. One guy, their technician came and was very polite and friendly. He repaired my door in less than an hour and also gave some helpful advice on how to maintain the door in future. Thanks!

I can’t say enough good things about A1 Garage Door Service and their technicians. They did an outstanding job in replacing my broken, and beyond repair, old garage doors. Before choosing A1, I spoke with several different companies and A1 customer care was the most knowledgable and offered a great price for the door + installation job. I already recommended them to my neighbours, my garage door looks awesome, and I would use their service again.

My garage door opener did not close all the way, and I contacted A1 garage doors and gates to come and service it. I called them at 7 PM, and they told me that they will send someone tomorrow morning at 8 AM. Their technician Mike showed at my place at 8:30, but that’s ok because he called and let me know his ETA around 7:45. Immediately he got to work, checked the door, and told me that the only problem was that someone accidentally moved one of the safety sensors. He re-positioned the sensors, lubed up the rollers and charged me service call of $62.95 and waived the repair fee of $50 since it was just the sensors. Mike was very friendly and honest. I like A1.

My garage door wasn't working properly for ages, and I kept blowing off the need of the door to be repaired. Boy that was a mistake. Two days ago when I woke up, I couldn't get my car out of the garage, since I could not open it. Stuck! I called A1 garage door and they said that someone will be there later that day. A few hours later, this man Johnny arrived. He opened the garage door, allowed me to take my car out since I needed to get to work. He said when you come back, this will be all fixed good as new. When I rolled up after work, I was so happy, the door went up very smooth & quiet. Johnny even cleaned up after himself. (usually service guys tend to leave a big mess.. what a nice surprise!). I like the way this company does business.

They came on time, did not charge extra for weekend service, and honored the warranty. Good guys, nice workers. Pleased with their work. A bit pricey, but worth it. You get what you pay for. these guys are top-notch. I didn’t wanna screw around with a fly-by-night lone repairman type. A1 stands behind thier work.

Impressed with A1 Garage door service. Booked an appointment for the very next day, and got a rough estimate over the phone. The guy was precisely on time for the appointment.
Did a visual inspection of the garage door and all its moving parts and offered tips and advice. Ronnie did the job I called them for quickly and on budget. ( Spring Job) . Great service!

My Mom called and said that her garage door broke, and I knew right who to call. Several weeks ago I had a great garage door service from a company called A1 who installed for us a new garage door, so I called them and asked if they can fix a broken garage door for my Mom. I said it is kind of emergency, and the nice lady on the phone told me that they can send someone today. I got a call from my mom later that day telling me that A1 did a great job, and that they were able to fix the door. Turns out the previous installer did not do things correctly, and this is what caused the door to fail. Super happy with the quick response, and not to overcharge us even though I wasn't there and I paid via phone with a credit card. Thank you and My mom thanks you.

My garage doors always got jammed, and three weeks ago when i was struggling to close the garage door in bad weather, well now I gotta do something about it. I called up A1 it seemed like they have a good reputation. When Peter from a1 garage doors arrived he told me straight; said that if I am willing to pay, there is no garage door problem that he can’t fix, but at the same time he said that they earn more money from repairing it. He goes it’s better and more cost efficient to just replace them. And he said I will be satisfied, or else he will not charge me labor fee.
That was a very honest approach, so I knew that I better replace the doors. 5 days later he brought the doors and replaced them, and I realize that this was the proper thing to do! I am so pleased I called A1 & Peter. Last week i had a problem with the new door. They arrived in less than 2 hours. And even then, the reason was my mistake so they did not charge me. These are good guys.

The repair man said he will be there within an hour, but it took him an hour & a half to get here. it’s cool, he called ahead and all. But what i really liked, is that it took him only 15 minutes to fix the door, and he only charged me 70 bucks (service fee) he waived the repair cost. Honest people, for a reasonable price, looking to make customers happy. A1 garage door made me happy.

I've been putting off taking care of both my garage door openers over the past 2 years, and have been relegated to manually opening and closing whenever I needed to get access. The recent holiday break finally gave me time to address this and a1 Garage door service was found to be one of the few highly rated providers on YP in Tucson az.



I called on a Saturday morning, and Tommy was able to schedule a visit the very same day! He was extremely professional and informative and rate was well in line with what I'd guesstimated. Him taking the time to fully explain the problems and also providing tips on proper maintenance was also much appreciated. I also found his maintenance tips to be extremely helpful and will be used as preventative service moving forward.

Hard to find good repairmen for cars and homes. A1 Garage door service is the best we have found for our homes as the owner repairs Commercial properties and store fronts. Garage Door busted today. What a pane in the but. We were not sure who to call. Asked my neighbors and they said I could use there computer to look. Found A1 Garage Door Repair and they showed up a fixed it up. Nice job guys
