Started in 1802, Pickersgill Retirement Community offers independent and assisted living options in a variety of rooms and suites. It is a nonprofit retirement community that features walking paths, landscaped grounds and porches, libraries, lounges and activity rooms. In addition, the community has a caf , barbershop, beauty salon, auditorium and computer lab, as well as The Decker Center. Pickersgill Retirement Community provides arts and crafts and gardening activities, as well as Bible study and exercise classes. The community serves meals and organizes parties, social events and holiday celebrations. In addition, Pickersgill Retirement Community offers volunteer opportunities and housekeeping and laundry services. It provides medical and nursing care that includes physical therapy and rehabilitative solutions.
