A Cake Occasion

I have been ordering cakes from them for 15 years and am NEVER dissapointed! They can pretty much do whatever you want and the prices are great.

I ordered a cake for my boss' birthday through the online service. It ws ready on time and it was fantastic! We were all disappointed that we only got one taste before she took it home with her. Great service and reasonable price. Now I'm going to order one for my son's birthday.

I went in and placed an order for my son's 3rd birthday 2.5 weeks before the actual party date and was met with a younger gentleman who acted very irritated and I was there and wasn't helpful whatsoever. The bakery had come highly recommended from a friend, otherwise I would have left right then. I went ahead and ordered the cake, for which I had brought a picture and plate so they knew EXACTLY what I was wanting. When I went to pick up the cake it was not ready and I was told to return 3 HOURS later. When we did get the cake it was nothing like what I asked for, the airbrushing was hideous and they had used the paper plate I brought in for a design idea on the actual cake! I was extremely disappointed with the entire experience. Upon leaving my husband pointed out the disgustingly dirty and dusty cakes on display and the air vent in the ceiling that was FILTHY. I will never return here and will definitely discourage anyone I know of going their also.

I ordered a bridal shower cake for my daughter. Told them the theme was "princess" and they went over and above. They made a cake with a carriage on the top and all the trimmings. I was amazed, thrilled, over the moon. It was so beautiful, tasteful and was the hit of the party. I felt the I got more than my monies worth for the cake. I would have ordered the wedding cake from there but the groom's aunt wanted to make it for their gift. We will definetly be repeat customers.

I placed an order two weeks in advance for my 5 yr olds birthday party. I met with a nice girl who worked there who suggested that they make a 3D dog who was standing up. She stated that they do them all the time. I stressed the importance of it being very well done because of the party. She stated it would be great. The day before the party, we arrived to pick up the cake and they had not finished it. We waited another hour for the cake. Wen we finally got the cake, the woman at the bakery came to us apologizing over and over, she stated that she "didn't have a dog to look at." The cake was aweful. It was small, lumpy, poorly frosted and terribly airbrushed. The cake looked as if a preschooler had made it- definately not a high end bakery. It was apparent that very little labor and time went into making the cake. We asked for our money back- and they were very sorry and offered to make a new cake for the party. We have had only good experiences at A Cake Occasion, with cakes, cupcakes and dessert trays. Yum!

I ordered cakes from A Cake Occasion when they first opened years ago and have ordered cakes every year since. I have never been disappointed with their cakes or their customer service. Thanks for years of memories!!!

Cake is always moist, buttercream frosting is terrific. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I am happy to support a local family owned business - especially one that does such a great job.

We have been getting every cake from A Cake Occasion since they did our wedding cake over 14 years ago. The cakes are always great, their prices are very fair and the customer service is always great. I have recommended them to everyone I know and everyone has received nothing but great cakes and great customer service. It's also great to see the same people everytime we walk in.

They have the best cakes in town. I always order my cakes from them and I have never gotten anything but great service and a great cake. I would recommend them to anyone!

We stumbled upon this little bake shoppe in 2005 when looking for a bakery to do our wedding cake. We've used them ever since for showers, graduations, birthdays only becuase they exceed our expectations each and every time. We've since turned friends and family over to them as they truly do a great job! Ruby and staff are just fabulous!

Cake was okay but not decorated according to what was originally discussed. Upon party day and cake pickup,the cake was NOT ready! Waited 25 minutes so they could finish cake. You could see the cake was done in a rush even though I turned in the cake order a week prior to picking up. Spoke with decorator, she didnt make any amends or attempts to make me want to come back. Poor customer service.

I used A Cake Occasion for my wedding on May 25th after sampling multiple well known bakeries. It was the best experience and we received rave reviews on our cake. They had great service and awesome cake and as a plus, when you go to a cake sampling, they serve fresh cake!

I went into A Cake Occasion 10 years ago as a high school senior looking to sell and ad for my high school paper. 10 years later I do not order cakes from anywhere else! Very good service, delicious cakes and amazing design and artwork!
