Bill & Dave's Smokin' Pit

We have this catered at work sometimes and it has a lot of room for improvement. The meat is plain terrible. The ribs are like shoe leather and always seem warmed over. I realize sometimes they are tricky to cook. I am not speaking from a single experience. Recently we had rib eye steaks. So over cooked and tough. The green beans are undercooked with way too much onion and the ham in them looks like it came from the salad bar. To be fair, dining in has been a better experience. But a lot of the food is not very fresh on the buffet. I would love to see some improvements because it is local owned.

They catered a wedding I attended recently. The BBQ pork melts in your mouth it is so tender. The roasted red potatoes had an excellent flavor. They also do cakes and cupcakes. The cupcakes were very moist and the buttercream topping perfect. Great service and very friendly. They can handle large parties of 2000 or more but do small orders as well.

If your looking for good BBQ, clean restaurant, well don't pass this place up. You get lots of choices on buffet, along with great desert bar to.
