I highly recommend this shop!!! Always so professional and honest. Can't say I've been treated any better in any other shop these past years. I wouldn't ever hesitate to go to them. If you're having any type of problem with your car this is the place to go !

I am new to the area and had yet to find a mechanic that would be honest, reliable and trustworthy. When I got to the shop on Saturday 3/26 I got a good feeling due to the high quality shop that Leon, the owner, keeps. Leon greeted me and spoke with me about the problems my car was having. He was very straightforward about what I would need, the cost of it all, and his opinions. I spoke with a mechanic friend of mine who had assumed the labor/parts would cost far more than what Leon charged me. If you are looking for a mechanic that will not steal your money, and will get the job done, Leon is your man! Many mechanics will give you a handwritten slip of what you had done for the day, but Leon gave me a receipt with a professional heading for his shop, all of the work done and the prices. When you are looking for someone who will take care of your car, you want someone reliable and professional. He runs a good shop and I am happy to say I have found my new mechanic.

I had just gotten off I-75 for a business meeting, thankfully an hour early, when my car started making a weird noise. While I was driving I was turning everything on and off to see what the cause was, but couldn't figure it out. I got to my destination and immediately popped the hood and called my brother. Long story short he figured it was most likely something related to the transmission. So I looked up Transmission Mechanic on Google Maps and Transmatics Transmissions was right around the corner. I drove my car over and spoke to Leon immediately after arriving. He drove the car around the lot and told me he would find the problem. He then offered to DRIVE ME back to my meeting! I don't know of any mechanic anywhere that would do that, even if it were around the corner! I got a call later from Leon stating that they wouldn't be able to fix it today because the part wouldn't come in on time. After I told him I didn't want stay unless absolutely necessary he offer another solution that wouldn't risk destroying my car on the ride home so that I could have it fixed later. I opted for Plan B, then Leon came and PICKED ME UP from my meeting!



Other than not having AC for the ride home, the consequence of Plan B-thoroughly explained beforehand, I felt like a princess. And they only charged my $60 for taking apart my engine and telling me exactly what my problem was. Now my brother can fix it this weekend! Thank you Transmatics!

After being stranded on the side of the road I thought my car was done. I decided to let Transmatics Transmissions take a look first and I am glad they did. The repairs were cheaper than a new car obviously and it runs perfectly now.

Quick service. They did a great job taking care of the car and the customer. Good price and the shop was clean and comfortable to wait in.

Just a few days ago my transmission started slipping a bit. Then it started making some very nasty growling noises. Got into a parking lot and every gear acted like neutral; my transmission was TOAST! Looked into a lot of different shops and was really starting to question if I should even keep my van or just get a new one because of the high costs everywhere I called for rebuilt transmissions.

I heard about Transmatic Transmissions from a trusted mechanic. When I called, a tech answered the phone. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. When he learned that I drove a van he immediately asked if it was a work van. I said yes and he quickly figured out what it would take to get it done as fast as possible so that I can keep working. I had my van towed there and 1.5 days later they called me letting me know I was good to go! Very good turnaround time! My transmission repair was HALF the cost of most other places I called!

I chose to call Plumbing Rescue from an advertisement in the local paper. I have been very satisfied with their service to my home. They confirmed the appointment before the technician arrived and he did arrive at the time scheduled. He was very professional and wore shoe coverings in my home. He explained all that he did as he was fixing my AC unit. He was a pleasure to have in my home. I would definitely ask for Tim the tech again. Thank you.

This place is not new but they know cars. I brought my car to a place in Tampa and they told me I had a transmission problem and I would have to replace it for $2300. With advice from a friend, I decided to take another opinion at Transmatic Transmissions. He told me it was a transmission sensor that would cost $250 to fix. AWESOME!!!

I had a couple other shops look at my car and I wasn't happy about their options so I kept looking. Transmatics Transmissions didn't try to pull one over on me and were totally straightforward. They got the work done the same day and I'm very happy with them and the work they did.

My engine was knocking and then I couldn't get the car to move anymore. I as recommended taking it to Transmatics Transmissions after I mentioned to my friend I would just buy a new car. They had a look at it and fixed the problem for a good price. It's been years since the car has ran this good.

My car didn't feel right so I brought it to Transmatics to have them take a look. They fixed it quickly and told me exactly what happened to it and what they did to fix it. I felt that they were honest about it and the price was right. I've been to shops before where it felt like they were trying to pull one over on me and I didn't experience anything like that at all here. I would definitely bring my car to them again.

The entire crew was very knowledgeable and attentive; they were quick to diagnose and repair my vehicle while looking for ways to save me the most money. Really showed the true character of this shop, highly recommend to everyone!

They got my car to shift correctly without rebuilding the transmission. That saved me a great deal of money and was what I was worried about most. I was pleased with the work and the time frame it was completed in.
