Been living here for 3 years and i love it ! Friendly staff and great location. I would definitely recommend St. James Crossing to anyone looking.
I lived here four years and it was great. Quick access to a lot of stores, shops, and malls. Office staff is nice and maintenance gets things fixed quickly.
ZERO STAR RATING.. Do not move in here, and if you do you should definitely request that a mold addendum be added to your lease. Our lease says theirs one, but now that we look back and review, that page was never provided to us in the copy we received. This property consistently has flooding and water damage. Over the past 4 years that this unit has been occupied we've had at least 5-6 flooding events, affecting over half the house and all they've done is put a band aid over the problem and wait to fix it until its too late. Their contractors do shoddy work and their management office does not double check contractors work once they've finished. If you suspect mold they will cover it up and refuse to test the air quality in your home which leaves your personal belongings contaminated and if you move you will take that contamination with you. If you are a current resident, i strongly urge you to contact the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs and Hillsborough County Health Department if you suspect that you have mold in your apartment due to consistent flooding from storms and sprinklers and file a complaint as we've just done. Don't let the condescending leasing office bully you... They might be "fixing" the buildings right now, but what about the people that have been living in them and their personal belongings and their health? Are they communicating the risk of toxic mold contamination to their residents? And if they fix the mold in the walls and allow you to move back in with the same mattresses and furniture, aren't you risking bringing that contamination right back in to the place?
