Kindred Hospital Central Tampa

I visited my friend’s mom on this facility and the level of care provided was excellent.
Everybody was friendly, caring and respectful.
Definitely a great experience.

The only reason that I gave Kindred Hospital Central Tampa a 4 star rating is because of the look of the building. It could use some work on the inside and outside of it. Other than the look I have had a great stay. Something I loved was that EVERYONE introduced themselves upon entering the room! I knew who was working with me as soon as they walked in the door.Nursing staff was very helpful. The CNAs were like little angels with all the work they did. Respiratory therapy was so efficient with the care that they provided. I would like to give special recognition to Yalitza from housekeeping. Any time I needed something she went out of her way to provide me with it. I am so grateful for people like her. I would also like to say that Ryan and Rebeca from rehab make a great team. They are so gentle with the work they do. Ryan always remained professional (no matter how much I try to break his character). I enjoyed getting to know everyone here and thank you everyone for your efficiency!

5 star facility! I am writing this story on my road of success here at Kindred Hospital Central Tampa. I was admitted here on 3-15-2016 for further treatment with having COPD. I cannot express my gratitude enough to the staff here at Kindred for their kindness, support, and educational services they provided for me. Thank you Dr. Sailesk Shah, Pulmonologist, for your quality care and sending me here until I could move on to the next level. I received the best of quality care possible. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. I would like to see more of these facilities throughout the United States. Once again, thank you to many of you here at Kindred.

I would like to thank the staff here at Kindred Hospital Central Tampa! I would absolutely recommend this place to my family and friends. The nurses and CNAs were caring. Rehab was perfect they did everything they could to get me back where I needed to be before leaving. There isn't a bad thing I could think to say about any one. Everyone was very conscientiousness of my needs. Thank you again for everyone being amazing people!

I came to Kindred Hospital Central Tampa for continuing care after devastating medical complications. The nursing staff was so kind and amazing. Rose was my favorite Nurse. She made sure on the days she worked that I was well taken care of. She is a thoughtful person who really cares. Michelle from R.T. was wonderful. Her, and the other Respiratory staff truly have a calling for what they do. The rehabilitation staff was beautiful. Ruth with Occupational Therapy and Tanvi with Physical Therapy help me through my recovery with great intentions. I would not be where I am without them. Julie, with lift team, is my angel. She does her job well and she puts her heart into it. I would recommend this hospital to any of my friends and family. The staff is great; I hope they don’t lose a single person. Each and every single one of them has their own qualities that make them special to their patients. I love ALL of them!

I would like to give recognition to the entire staff at Kindred Hospital Central Tampa. Over the last few months I have had a lot of medical issues. After being brought back to life twice, at another area hospital, I was transferred here to continue my care. From the CNAs to the Nurses, the entire nursing staff was great. The respiratory staff helped me greatly get through my stay and time of need. The rehab team is excellent! Tanvi and Eugene got me on my feet, all while Eugene giving me the medicine of laughter! Julie and Rebeca with rehab are so caring. They motivated me even when I didn't want to do a thing! I have to say that Dr. Atigre really cares about his patients and he was exceptional! Thanks you all for the care you gave me!

My father was a patient of Kindred for 6 weeks. He could not speak or get out of bed. He had to depend on the nursing staff for all his needs. It would take 45min to an hour for my father to get a bed pan. In my eyes that is neglect! I could write a book on all the wrong doings my father had to endure. If you love your family member please, please do not send them to Kindred Hospital!
