Sucks company. DO NOT DO ANY TYPE BUSINESS WITH THEM.....

They have towed my car from the front of my house without notice, this is illegal, and I have made a complaint against them.

Automotive towing has a contract with Lake Chase properties. They bend the rules of this contract to generate income. My truck was towed, while in a visitor's spot at my residence. I was told by Walter Maldonado at Automotive towing that this is NOT common practice. Jim at Automotive towing states that it IS authorized. I arrived at Automotive towing at 6:07 PM today and was told that due to being 7 minutes late, my fee increased from $165 to $215. I explained that I only withdrew $180 from the ATM (they accept cash only). Jim made a "deal" with another representative on the phone and authorized the $180. Jim stated they have a good business doing this and have towed 20 vehicles in my situation this week.

They do the same at Landings at Cypress Meadows too. I just bought a car and parked it in a visitor spot,went to get my tags,came back and my car was gone. If it wasn't for management they would have made me pay over 300.00 to get it back. They also towed my sisters boyfriends car when it was in a clearly mark visitors spot,one he parks in all the time. He called the police and they couldnt find the address or a good phone number for these people,finally he arrived hours later and it cost over 200 dollars to get his car back.

These people stakeout Cedar Forest Apartments all day and night waiting for people to park their cars so they can tow them. There's no signs anywhere in the parking lot that says your car can be towed. So they wait until you're just out of site, and they hurry and try to tow your car within minutes of parking. Then if you catch them in the act they'll say, we'll if you give me $50, you can have your car back. They also make sure to target new cars assuming that it'll be a quick 50 bucks because if you have a new car, you must have money. Then they'll taunt you in the process if you refuse to pay the bribe. Then if things don't go their way, they'll try to call the police and try to get YOU arrested. But I guess they forgot that THEY are on private property, so the police aren't going to do anything if something should happen to THEM when they are ILLEGALLY towing your car. You have the right to protect your property from theft!! Too bad I can't give them "NO stars"!!

A tow truck finally arrived an hour and a half after the promised time of 30-45 minutes. Once the tow truck did finally arrive, service was mediocre. Ad advertises business accepts credit / debit cards, but when I tried to pay with mine, driver didn't have necessary resources.
