Grow Financial Federal Credit Union - Hyde Park Store

I was a member of Mac Dill Federal Credit Union for over 23 years, and they were absolutely wonderful. I was concerned when they changed to Grow Financial, but was told that it was just the name that was changing. That however was a lie. To start with they spun there mortgage dept to some where in South Carolina, and the fact that the credit union being for the benefit of members went out the window. Since then I have been lied to repeatedly by their customer service and management staff. Today I called and spent 30 mins on hold over two phone calls, was hung up on for asking for a manager, and was told by that if I wanted to speak to someone I would have to hold as long as she felt like making me. That was the end of it. I have closed my accounts with them and moved to GTE Federal Credit Union. I can only hope that you take this seriously before you open account with this credit union and miss my Mac Dill. There are several other credit unions in this area please consider them before you end up being treated just like I have been.
