        Overall

        Quaint local bar and seafood restaurant with live entertainment. Yes, there's a lot of locals here, but most non locals really like it as it's super friendly, fun, and the drinks are good. If you're looking for a hipster place to meet hot chicks go somewhere else. If you want to hang with a friendly beach crowd, have good food and listen to good music, then you will enjoy it.

        J. King Neptune's, a landmark Sunset Beach, California restaurant has remained a local haven for over 50 years. With our very pleasant and quaint atmosphere many guest return often to indulge in our mainstay of very fresh seafood, perfectly grilled steaks and delicious cocktail's created by our award winning bartenders. The original recipe New England clam chowder is something not to be missed in your lifetime. And our Alaskan King Crab Legs are absolutely delicious and amazing, and remain our most popular requested item. The stage at King, Neptune's has showcased local and unknown new talent, some of which have gone on to become recording artist. Shows three nights a week highlight everything from blues to punk. King Neptune's also helps sponsors a local surf contest and is host to its awards night. No matter what you are looking for in a dining experience we offer it here at J. King Neptune's.
