Having dealt with this company for the past 20 years. I can say they are great. Always professional and true to their word. The work they have done for me and my family is exceptional. They are the most honest and dependable company I have ever encountered. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing any type of automotive repair work done properly.

website states they do lift kit installs and almost all of the reviews are 5 stars. called to make and appointment and the staff was friendly so i decided to take my truck there to get a lift installed and it went from the estimated day to day and a half to 3 days by the time they were finished, they did call and tell me it was taking longer than expected which is fine. once the truck was finished there was a slight click in the steering (not there before). After driving the truck home, i heard a sound coming from the hub of the wheels and when i got home and took the hub off, the axle nuts where just sitting in there bouncing around (not even threaded (granted, they might have been on loose and come off completely during the 10 min drive home)). After being worried about the steering issue and the axle nuts, i decided to look into the rest of the work they did, probably should not have done that...because i found that the ABS brackets were not installed, the CAM locking nuts were missing, god only knows what else they forgot to install as the rack and pinion spacer was in the same bag as the CAM lock washers and the ABS mounts, my guess is they forgot to install the entire bag of parts and that might be causing the steering issue. i am hoping they make it right and give me some sort of refund and fix the work they did/didn't do. i will edit the review if they make it right. very displeased at this point!

I have used Harford Tire as my go-to repair shop for a few years. I can say I'll continue to go out of my way to have my car serviced here as the few times I've gone somewhere else I have been ripped off or tried to rip me off. Most recently I needed a simple headlight bulb. It was quicker to take it across the street from my work & I'm thinking it's only a headlight. I drop it off at the other shop & when I pick it up my car is still wo a headlight. I'm told by the manager that it's been "rigged" & the bulb fittings are melted to a rigged wire & can't be removed. The mechanic comes in & confirms this & draws diagrams of what it's attached to. They wanted over $160 to rewire it properly. I said I'd just take it to the place that "rigged" it.

When I take it to Harford Tire, I'm explaining what has happened to my melted bulb & the guy is smiling but kindly says it's ok. We got it. I want to see this melted metal that2 grown men are incapable of replacing. He pops the wire out, shows me a normal connector, & pops the bulb off in 1 second. He smiles & says Obviously they didn't try hard enough.

My very complicated headlight was finished in 3min& cost $11.

Overall

The gentlemen at this establishment are kind, courteous & professional.

I happened to stumble upon this place several months back on a return trip from PA to my home in Baltimore City. Needed a quick tire repair so I pulled over to the nearest station I could find. They fixed the tire at a reasonable price and had me in and out of there in no time. Didn't come out and try to sell me a list of 19 additional repairs that so often accompany a simple repair or oil change, etc. So I thought that was great, but it will probably be different next time. Well, stopped in again for a minor issue when returning from a holiday trip, and once again I encountered top notch, professional, knowledgable, kind, courteous employees. I observed how they interacted with the customers on the phone & in the waiting area and was nothing but impressed. The management obviously trains their men well. They run this place a notch above the rest in an old fashioned service oriented way. Therefore I'm spreading the word about this hidden gem. I only wish they were closer so I could use them for all my car care needs.
