Garrisonville Dental

Today was my first time visiting the Garrisonville Dental office, and I can say this was my most favorable dental experience so far in my lifetime. My visit with my Dental Hygienist Nicole and Dr. Johnson was professional, personable and educational. Also, I would like to thank the front office staff for their friendly and welcoming Customer services.

This is a excellent dental office and Doctor Misto is the best dentist I have seen in the last 45 years.

Natasha is AWESOME!!! She is so gentle! Dr. Han is great too. I love getting my teeth cleaned. I highly recommend them!

I have been going to this practice for 18 years now. They are always staying ontop of the latest dentistry practices. They have a beautiful, modern new building. I had an appt today and got caught on I-95 and called. They told to still come and they bent over backwards to fit me in. I can't say enough about the quality of care you get from them. Totally happy!

I have been going to Garrisonville dental for many years and have always had a positive experience with Dr. Misto and the staff. The dental hygienists are great. My dental hygienist, Cormie is very friendly, knowledgeable and provides great care.

Been going to this practice for almost three years. Always professional. My doctor retired, but my husband and I see Dr. Han and we both really like him.

If you're looking to get a cleaning or general checkup, then this dental office is fine. In fact, it's very clean & modern with the latest in x-ray technology, etc. And Dr. Misto is very nice, polite, and professional. HOWEVER, do NOT get braces here!!! The orthodontist (the only one in the entire clinic - not Dr. Misto) told my son his jaw was mis-aligned (it wasn't!) and that after his braces were removed, he'd need to wear a retainer for the rest of his life. I should've listened to my gut that something didn't sound right, especially when we were only hoping to fix a slight overlap problem with 2 of his teeth. The rest of my son's teeth were straight! Well, $6,000 later, my son's jaw became mis-aligned (!), his retainer kept breaking, he was told he must wear his retainer 365/24/7. What?! After realizing that something was indeed very wrong at this point, I took my son to another local orthodontist, and he told my son that he would need to wear braces again for 2 years to correct his new jaw problem! When he saw the "before" x-rays (which I brought with me), he clearly observed there was no jaw problem to begin with and agreed that something had, in fact, gone terribly wrong. (It was also nice to know we hadn't gone crazy!) He advised my son to immediately stop wearing his retainer, and since then (about 4 months ago), my son's jaw is already halfway better. :-) My husband thinks the problem will go away by itself if we wait another 4 months. Meanwhile, without his retainer, my son's 2 teeth are now starting to overlap again, but at least he can properly bite down! My son is 14 years old and does not want to wear braces for a second time, so we're currently on stand-by. In short, if you need orthodontic work done, beware of this office!!!!! Their orthodontic incompetence is bewildering!!!!!
