canned food not fresh vegies treats employees very badly

Although the prices are very high ($13 - 26 per person depending on day of the week), the food was delicious! Very Southern. Fried green tomatoes, chicken livers, and very good deserts.

We visited this restaurant for Mother's Day, as it was so highly recommended, however, I would say DO NOT GO!! The food was horrible, and worse than that, the level of loudness in the restaurant was deafening. We could not even hear each other, nor the waitress to take our simple drink orders. There is a beautiful setting, however, we could not have a conversation, and simply without conversation because we were not about to yell at each other, shaking our heads at the people all around us talking and laughing so loudly. They had no respect for the place they were in, and worse than that, the manager had no control over it. It was a huge waste of a lot of money. You can definitely find better. To have found a manager who had a moment to talk to you would have been a feet in itself, but then of course, how could he/she have heard us? It was terrible.
