This Is It BBQ & Seafood

I'm a truck driver that ordered from this establishment. Food was good, but service was shitty! Didn't receive all my food, woman at front getting smart, corporate office didn't care that I didn't get ally food, but they took my money. Will mot eat there again, and can't see how they won any Awards!!!!

Went looking for a good soul food spot and we def found one. The customer service was great and the food was good. I got pork chops and they were great. I would def return.

Always one of my go to spots. Me and my boyfriend eat here all the time. I love the tilapia,shrimp, rib tips, macaroni, baked beans and THE BANANA PUDDING

I'm staying across the street and the food's been great each time. It's not fast food so there is of course a wait, but it's worth it.

The pork ribs were very good but not the best I've ever had. I also tried the pulled turkey with gravy and it was really good. The sides are definitley what you should come for. . The sweet potato casserole and macaroni and cheese were excellent. I can't wait to visit this place again.

I had the oxtail dinner which includes rice and two sides for around $15.00. The meat was tender with plenty of brown gravy. The Mac and cheese was creamy and the cabbage was seasoned as well.

The food was fantastic. We had pork ribs and chargrilled chicken with mac & cheese and sweet potatoes. All of it was really really good. Probably the best "fast food" or restaurant mac I've ever had. And I don't normally like sweet potatoes but this was like dessert. I would go back and hopefully the atmosphere and service would be better on a regular day.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. The food was great and there were so many choices. This was a smaller location, but the food was still of quality. During my second time going to the restaurant on my third day of my vacation, some kind of way it was a miscommunication between the cashier and the cook, after I paid my order. I didn't know it, until I had been waiting for 30 minutes. The owner overheard me asking for my money back. He gave me my money back and gave me a free meal!!! I truly appreciated that because I was becoming HANGRY (hungry/angry)!!! I would go back!!!

I really like this restaurant! I normally get the beef ribs or the bbq chicken wings with mac and cheese, cabbage or collard greens, the potato salad is good as well.

Heard on radio that they were having a two meal complete meal with dessert for $25. Visited the location in Smyrna and had a really good meal. Tilapia was cooked very good. We had had two sides, corn bread, large drink and peach cobbler all for $25. The deal was great and the food was very good.

Super delicious. On several visits I have tried their smothered pork chops, chopped pork, sweet potato souffle, dressing, baked beans, mashed potatoes, texas toast, corn bread.... All excellent!

I have to admit from the outside it doesn't look like much and when we saw oxtail ...hhmmmmm...This is not gourmet dining but it is a great "hole-in-the-wall" place! ! !! What a surprise. It is hard to get a good catfish dinner in Atlanta and the surrounding area. This was superb ! ! ! ! 2 jumbo pieces cooked to perfection and served steaming hot. The sides and desserts are an added benefit - My sister had the pork tips which she thought were better than FAT MATT'S !! ! ! Everyone was pleasant and helpful..We received too much food and ended up taking half home. Most people came in for the chicken dinner - so next time we will try that and the green cake.

This Is It is my go-to place for prepared food. It's had to find good vegetables in affordable restaurants. Everything that I've had there has been delicious, and I love that they don't use pork to season the vegetables. Our vegetable favorites: collard greens, cabbage, sweet potato soufflé, and green beans. The baked beans are the only item that I've found to be inconsistent. They are always at least good, but most of the time they are incredible. (The darker the sauce is, the better they taste.) Our meat favorites: fried fish and smoked chicken wings. I've heard people rave about their other meats, but I haven't tried them myself. Even when it's busy, the service is always friendly. Although it's not an inexpensive place to get a quick meal, it is certainly cheaper than going to a full service restaurant, and the time saved in the kitchen is worth every penny. My family of three has gotten at least 2 days worth of dinners for under $30. Not only is this my go-to place for prepared meals for my family, it's my go-to place when I need to bring a dish to a potluck gathering. (My secret is now out.)

Our hotel (Double Tree) recommended this place, & it did not disappoint . One of my favorite BBQ places. Ribs & Chicken had a good smoke on it. BBQ was excellent. We came in for Brisket (this location no longer sells it). The pork Rob's were meaty & tender. Chicken was moist. Greens were good as well with Mac n cheese, black eyes peas & cabbage soup. Corn bread muffin was outstanding, very moist & tasty. After having a great conversation with the owners son, he comped us banana pudding, very very good. Would definitely come back when in Atlanta again. One last thing that was helpful, they are open late, 11 pm on a Thursday night.

Their macaroni & cheese is out of this world but that is it! Their pulled pork was dry although the BBQ sauce was delicious. The collard greens were ok, not seasoned & plain...restaurant atmosphere is completely gross...sweet tea was nasty. I would go back though & try something different....like the ribs. 1 meat/1 side & drink was $7.50....I thought it was overpriced. I bought mac n cheese separate & it was $3.17 for a SMALL side.

My first time at this restaurant I walked in and the line was long. My first thoughts was this food has to be good. I was greeted with smiles and many welcomes. I waited in line and did not wait long at all. I was able to pick what I wanted. I even had a server to bring my food to the tabe for me. Everyone was so nice. When I sat down to eat I was in heaven. Everything was wonderful. Great food and great service you can not ask for anything more. If you are ever in the Atlanta area you need to stop by here and try it out. The Banana pudding was excellent as well.
