Lam DDS Wai PA

My visit to Dr. Wai Lam was awful and I don't recommend her at all. I had a really bad customer service experience with the office manager. He was very rude and impolite the whole appointment. I went for a free braces consultation but the office manager was extremely pushing towards Invisalign. He wanted me to go forward with Invisalign based on what "he" feels is right for "me". I told him that based on all this explanation, Invisalign was not right for me. He keep telling me that I should not worry about and I should just go with Invisalign. He was very unprofessional and the actual dentist Wai Lam was not very experienced. They pushed me to do the x-rays and they are charging for the x-rays, for a picture they took of my face on their office and for the consultation. They charged me for consultation when it was supposed to be free consultation.
In addition to that, the office manager wanted to charged me a co-pay after the appointment. I told him that any fees related to the appointment should have been ran by my insurance and if any service is not covered than they need to tell the patient upfront and before the appointment. The office manager (male) told me that if I don't pay, he will put me on collection and they don't care if I sue them or not. He was completely rude and aggressive. I was in shock with such aggressiveness that he affirmed to me they don't offer friendly customer service there. He kept saying that I should not worry about "my" money but in fact he was trying to make money out of it. They are really a rip off dentist office. DO NOT GO THERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!
