Crab Cake Factory Bayside

My family and I were looking forward to dining at the Crab Cake Factory for weeks. We arrived in two vehicles. The parking attendant was extremely rude to my brother. We were seated immediately upstairs. The view was beautiful. We were concerned about the tables because they weren't covered and they were wood. There isn't really any was to sanitize them. The server came to get our drink order in a couple of minutes. She returned with a partial drink order. She had forgotten my brother and sister in laws sodas. At the time she asked if we were ready to order ? My sister had asked her when she was taking the drink order if the crab cakes had any dairy in them due to an allergy. She had not gotten the answer. I said that we need to have the answer for ordering purposes. She kind of huffed off and went to find out. She came back and said they did. We ordered. My husband reminded her about the two sodas we hadn't received yet. When she brought them I asked her for another roll of silverware because one of the forks we had still had food particles on it. She brought a fork and plopped it down on the table. The food arrived. It was good. Crab cakes weren't the best we gave ever had but they were good. The server never came back to check on us until we were all finished. I retired from the restaurant industry in 2010 and I can tell you that I would not tolerate this kind of performance from my employees. There were seven of us and I don't think we will ever return to the Crab Cake Factory in Selbyville, DE. We have a house a mile or so from this restaurant so it is a shame that this happened!
