Dietz Tractor Co

I've bought 4 tractors from Dietz over the past 11 years. 2 were old Massey Fergusons. The last two were new LS Tractors. First one was a G3038 with backhoe and my most recent was an LS XR4155C with backhoe. This thing is beautiful. Very nice Cab. A/C works great. The XR4155C was my first experience with the new common rail diesel engines that are coming out and I can tell you that my new common rail 55 hp engine burns less fuel than my previous 2014 model 38 hp engine. The backhoe is substantial. Much bigger and beefier than something you would find for rent at a Home Depot. Much more capable and I can take it on or off in under five minutes by myself. I priced a Deere's equivalent version with 600 lbs less lifting capacity and only a 2 year warrantee and it was $68,000. My LS was $30,000 less!!!! And $24,000 less than Kubota's version after what ever rebate they were offering at the time. Again, 600 lbs less and even less warrantee. 1 year on this, 2 years on that, extended to 3 years for $3,000 more dollars. LS has a full 5 year warrantee. If you don't believe me than go see the prices for yourself. How can it be so affordable you ask. LS doesn't spend near as much in advertising. I would say the quality equals any big name brand out there and is a much better tractor than a Mahindra. Mahindra can't even touch these prices. Again, you are paying Mahindra's massive advertising bill. Read Mahindra's fine print on their warrantee. If you use your Mahindra for commercial or farm use, what it's made for, your 6 or 7 year warrantee is void!!! Like I said, this is my fourth tractor and Dietz has never done me wrong. Talk to Mark and I'm telling you, you'll walk away with a lot more tractor and a lot more money in your pocket. I recommend Dietz to all my friends and co-workers. Thanks Mark.

Dietz Tractor picked up my tractor for 3 main repairs and 2 minor concerns...leaking fluids, governor not functioning, and 3 point hitch not holding; minor issues extend exhaust and fix fuel guage. Was told they could look at it right away and it would be 2 weeks for parts on an average tractor service. Nearly 4 months later I visited the store every day for a week and was finally told everything was fixed and that the fuel gauge was busted and to fix that myself. I went to start up the tractor by myself to find out it still leaks, governor won't hold idle and still runs away and the 3-pt hitch still doesn't hold. I informed the service department to be told they will look into it but there were a few tractors in front of me and would get to it when they could. I'm new to the area, a first time tractor owner on a small farm looking to use local business to the max extent...this is very disappointing as I was hoping to have a long time relationship with the tractor company.

Bought a Brand New Ferris mower which has broke the drive belt 3 times with only 69 hours on the mower. The sales man I bought from immediately started blaming on me running into things and damaging the belt. The service manager took the time to inspect the drive pulley system & couldn't find anything. I had to repair myself by shimming and aligning the tensioning pulley (misaligned from factory). I don't recommend Ferris products due to this & I don't recommend Deitz Tractor due to the customer service I received. They are glad for you to purchase but not happy when you have trouble with the equipment & try to blame you instead of standing behind their products.

I went in to get a part and could'nt believe the foul language used by the clerk. He was loud and rude. When I asked his opinion on the best way to do the repair, he stated that I was "Dumb as sh*t ".

When I left the parts counter I comented to another clerk about what just happened and asked to talk to the Manager.

I was shocked to learn that the foul mouthed counter clerk was in fact the owner of the store.

I would rather drive to another town than go back to Dietz Tractor
