AT&T

The Selma, TX AT&T store has multiple customer service issues. Waiting is one. More concerning to me is lack of product knowledge. The representative and manager said a problem could not be resolved--and fortunately I did not believe either of them.



I ordered a new iPhone6 which will not arrive for 9 weeks, and almost simultaneously my current phone died. It could not be repaired. The solution seemed simple. Transfer the account to an older iPhone I have. The representative and manager adamantly said it could not be done because the account had been assigned to the new phone. Really? The manager offered no options.



The fix seemed simple to me and an online AT&T chat with a great representative flawlessly resolved the issue and said it would be present no problems with the new phone.



Was this a matter of lack of technical access at the store? Lack of expertise due to lack of training? Lack of initiative? Could they not even imagine suggesting that I contact an online AT&T expert? Whatever the problem, I have no confidence in this store. Someone from the regional office needs to evaluate the need for training in technical issues and customer service.

Worst customer service ever!! I will never go back to this store. & I will never forget his name either. "Arturo". I also spoke to the assistant manager and he wasn't concerned on my problem I had either. Pretty much just gave me the run around. He gave me his card and I called him and emailed and no reply. How unprofessional. These people need to get retrained.
