Wyndham Garden San Diego near SeaWorld

Upon check-in the front desk was very polite and hospitable. They recommended a great Mexican restaurant, Casa Gudalajara in Old Town San Diego. That evening, my girlfriend and I celebrated her b-day there, and I was again very pleased. We both enjoyed our cocktail, dinner, and flan b-day dessert!

As for the hotel room, the place is pet friendly and the room was spacious and had a great cleanliness. The dog enjoyed his stay too. As for the trip to Sea World, it was quite close. The main reason booking here was of convenience and location.

This Hotel is in a great location,There are plenty of Restaurants with in walking distance. The Gaslamp area is not far either. Beautiful view, plenty of activities to see and do, great work out room and an outdoor pool to top it off. Breakfast can be ordered and delivered to your room. The overall service was great.

I stayed at the Wyndham Garden near Sea World for three nights with friends. When checking in we were greeted beautifully by Terrence who upgraded us to a junior suite for free. Our room was cleaned everyday, all of the staff were lovely including the maintenance team. The atmosphere at the hotel was gorgeous.The pool is heated and so is the jacuzzi outside. There are plenty of sunbeds and deckchairs.The location of the hotel is 15-20 minutes walk west of Old Town and 10 minutes walk away from the Old Town Transit Center which is where you can get trolleys to other locations including the beaches, downtown and little Italy.This hotel is cheap and extremely cheerful, I would expect this hotel to be at least $100 more a night than it is priced at. I recommended this hotel 100% and will happily stay here again if I am ever in San Diego again.

We really like the Wyndham Garden. It is the perfect location. Less than a mile from Sea World and Mission beach. Close to freeway access, and local roads. Overall I really liked our stay! Good location, close to everything. Clean rooms, nice staff.

The best part of the hotel was the staff. I wish I would've gotten the wonderful girl's name who checked us in and out. She was so awesome! Thank you for the parking kudos for our first trip away from our kids! The gentleman who was the head of maintenance was very helpful, and the manager Jason was great as well.

The room was clean and comfortable. The service in the front desk was satisfying. Jason was a greet help in registering the room for us.

NO issues. Lots of food places in walking distance. Buffalo Wild Wings and an assortment of fast food. Chase bank across street.

Overall the stay was very good. Easily accessible from the Interstate, close to LaJolla beach, Sea World, Harbor Cruises.

A girlfriend and I needed a sort get away to bet the heat. Booked a room with Priceline name your own price. So you never know where you'll be staying .. Couldn't believe how nice the hotel was the price I paid :) I arrived at the hotel early hoping to check in. Jason at the front was so helpful gave perfect directions to my room (hotel is huge) even recommended a few good places nearby definitely recommend

My husband and my 1yrd old stayed for 3 nights. It was ok nothing fancy the place was clean. The room was big enough for us and the bathroom was a little outdated. We just needed a place to rest and shower so it worked perfect for us. I would recommend it for a quick trip.

Outstanding. A bit small but accommodating, could use a little more supplies. Freddy is most spectacular and very helpful. Went out of his way to ensure our happiness.

This hotel is super clean and comfortable. Ramona is wonderful. She took the time to call and make sure everything was good with the room. It's very easy to get to old town from here. The bus stops right out front and goes directly there.

wonderful children flew in and needed for us to pick them up at the airport, but because we had all of our luggage we didn't have room for them or there luggage.

I'm a Merchant Marine and we currently use the Wyndham as our hotel to stay while waiting for a ship. The only thing I can say is that this place is awesome. The front desk was very nice and accommodating to anything that was asked. The room service is the best I've ever seen for California hotels, even though they don't speak English, they understand what is wanted and are very nice.

The hotel was great, it was clean, smell clean, and most of all the bathroom was clean. My family enjoyed our stay. We upgraded our room to a junior suite because we are a family of five. To my surprise the room was better than we had expected after reading all the bad reviews. The room and hotel was nothing like the reviews that said the hotel was a motel. On the contrary the hotel is set up like a resort. I stayed at the Wyndham Resort in Florida and this had a similar theme. The area was great as well, it provided a lot of store options. The hotel is located just outside of old town San Diego. The staff was great. We booked the hotel on priceline for (45+tax) $59 dollars a night including tax. The price scared me because it was so cheap I thought oh no this must be a dingy hotel but like I said above it was better than I thought. I was better than most of the 3 star hotels we stay in. No I am not paid by the hotel to write this review

This is my Home away from home. I love coming down to Erell's Comedy Shows in the Bar by the Pool and Restaurant for Mirth and Merriment. Great Service, Good Food and Drink's and the Funniest Comedian's to entertain at the end of the week. You deserve a break at the end of the work week, even if you felt like choking out your co-worker!!!
