Thank you so much for such an amazing day! People keep asking who the caterer was and kept raving about the food! We had such a great day and can't wait to see the photos! Thank you so much for everything you and all of Ranch Catering did for us. Your teams really made our dreams come true and then some! The young lady that was the designated server for Louie and me during dinner was AMAZING and so was the guy who came right up to us the moment we went to the cocktail hour and had a whole tray of food just for us. He was awesome! Thank you again for everything and we would be more than happy to be a reference for you if you ever need it! Thank you so much again!

I just wanted to write and let you know how amazing your staff was last night. They were all so great to work with. Gio was an unbelievably wonderful banquet captain. He was totally organized to a "T" and you can tell his crew really respects him. Bob did an awesome job bar-tending; he is fun spirited and very professional. The rest of the crew did terrific as well. Everything went very smoothly thanks to all of them. Gio paid close attention to every detail without fail and the bride and groom were overjoyed with his service and meticulous manner. The bride and groom as well as guests could not say enough how delicious the food was! I look forward to working with all of them again in the near future. I also want to say to you Rhonda how much I appreciate your attention to detail and how wonderful you were about the last minute changes, even when I called you the day before in LA, you were awesome!! Ranch Events & Catering is by far the best in this industry and my new favorite as a coordinator!!

Seaside room for our wedding reception was a great choice.



We used the Seaside room for our wedding ceremony and reception site in March 2015.

We worked with Bernardo as our point of contact and I have the highest compliments for him and his staff. From the first day we met with Bernardo, he took a genuine interest in what we wanted for the wedding and reception. The fact he controlled the room setup, décor and catering was a tremendous advantage and made it easier for us to focus on other vendors.

The reception went exactly as promised, the buffet lines went smoothly and there were no significant delays to get everyone served. We received compliments on the food quality and it exceeded our expectations. Choosing the cupcake option allowed us to choose a variety of flavors and guests were able to sample the multiple options.

Bringing our own alcohol saved us a significant amount of money and allowed us to have an open bar for the entire reception. The Ranch bartenders were responsive and professional and made sure that we got back everything that was not used.

Highly recommend this location. Our first impression was that the empty room looked a little dated, but once Bernardo and his team worked their magic we were left with a gorgeous setting for a lifetime of memories.

The food was delicious -- perfect really!

Ranch catered our wedding at Marina Village on 3/12/15. It was beautiful and everything went exactly as I hoped! The food was delicious -- perfect really! The short ribs were to die for! Rhonda was our contact there, she was so sweet and helpful and amazing! She helped us plan every detail and really made my dream come true. We were on a tight budget, Rhonda was open to negotiating the price and working with us on that. She also made sure we had the pretty chairs (makes a difference not having to use a separate rental company) and every detail the way we wanted. Even down to the way the napkins were folded! Staffs were very helpful too, setting up early in the day so we could put down our DIY centerpieces. Our event captain, he was very nice and gracious. It all came off without a hitch and Ranch was a big part of the reason why! I highly recommend them and working with Rhonda specifically.

Kathy has been nothing but absolutely wonderful during the planning process for our Holiday Events this year. This is my first time organizing these events and I have had incessant questions and requests for Kathy. She has been courteous and professional – not to mention prompt – in her responses and it is very much appreciated. We have used Ranch Events the last couple of years and although the food is always wonderful, I can see that it is also the service we receive that consistently has us coming back to you. During my first telephone conversation with you in early December, you instilled confidence, hope, and assurance that with you and Ranch Events on board, our February 8th Celebration Event would be awesome… And it was! Each and every time we talked or I had a question, you were immediately responsive, accommodating and assuring. I so appreciated you! Thank you!

Your willingness to meet Steve and me with Jon at Sunrise was such a relief and a reaffirmation of our choice to hire Ranch Events. Your idea, knowledge and experience were invaluable. And then to have a second meeting with Bob and his assistant, Kathy, was beyond any expectation.

Bob’s calm, gentle and generous responses and his depth of understanding of our situation was a true blessing. He is amazing!

It is with great pleasure that I’m writing this letter of commendation for the captain of our event. My daughter, Marisa’s wedding was Catered & designed by Ranch Events. The food and service was received by guests and family with many compliments, but it was the manner in which the service was provided by your staff, that drew the greatest reviews.

My daughters and indeed our two families were impressed by the professionalism and personal touch & the attention to detail. The captain was facilitative and coordinated the events with easy and skill. Many of our guests were very complementary. In our every day “hustle and bustle” were generally expect quality, service and we are quick to complain when we don’t receive it. We often forget that a job well done should not be overlooked.

Thank you to all the staff who contributed greatly to success of the wedding and ceremonies that followed. Our family is grateful.

My husband and I would like to extend our deepest thanks to all of you, and your staffs, for the extraordinary job that you all did for my daughter, Stephanie Marcks, and her husband, Jordan Weisman, at their wedding on Saturday, 1/2/10. The wedding experience exceeded all of our expectations. The room was beautiful in both set-ups; both the ceremony and the reception afterwards. Dear Jason Peltier, I just wanted to drop a line to you and commend Julie Palomares for going above and beyond the call of duty. She made the extra effort to come by to meet with ours and your client Yvette Madueno prior to her wedding at the San Diego History Center on March 27th even though she was not a client Julie was obligated to meet with. The client and the client’s family immediately took a liking to her and felt very reassured by her expertise and helpful information. Julie also then made the extra effort to come by on the day of the 27th to make certain that everything was going smoothly and well. The client and her family asked me to make certain to thank Julie since they felt that because of her extra effort and care that they had received the best personal care and service from your company.

Reception was beautiful and the food was delicious.



New School of Architecture & Design has worked with Ranch Events for nine years. Year after year your team has continued to provide exceptional service and quality food no matter what the size of our event. This past spring, we ran six events in the span of five weeks. Your team’s attention to detail and versatility was the key in all of these events running smoothly. Of particular note, were our back to back events serving over 700 individuals each in the span of less than 24 hours- both handled flawlessly. Your teams were on time, prepared for ever contingency, resourceful and professional. Although we enjoy the food you provide- and it is yummy-, we continue to work with you year after because of your top notch staff.

I would like to personally commend Julie Palomares, Marco Lopez, Salvador Zeckua and Scott Grey. I can always count on these individuals to exceed my expectations and provide the highest level of customer service.

It was a really amazing wedding reception!

The rental part of the service was fabulous!  Exceeded all my expectations!  Everything was there and in beautiful condition!  Nothing was missing and the quantities were perfect. 



Everything you and Ranch Catering did exceeded my expectations!  The staff was exemplary!  They were courteous, kind, caring, professional in every way yet personable (like you!), efficient, hard working, well dressed, groomed, etc.  Marco was fabulous!  Marco the bartender was terrific - although I don't think that he had much business as I had quite of booze left over which is fine with me!  (I bought the wines and beers I liked!) 



The cake was unbelievable!  It was EXACTLY what Lindsey wanted!  Maureen topped it with fresh flowers and it was just like a picture from a magazine!  And it tasted fabulous!  I am so happy we went with your cake! 



The food was fabulous!  It all had great flavor, it was hot, fresh and plentiful.  I don't believe we had any leftovers!  It was good to have the au jus and horseradish. 



Everything proceeded as we had planned - but none of that could have happened without all your knowledge, efficiency and attention to all the details!  You really made it all happen!  I wish you could have seen it!  You would have been so proud!

It was a ultimate royal wedding!

Dear sirs

I am the manager at first Congregational Memorial Tower. On Thursday Dec 17, 2009 we had our Christmas Party by Ranch Catering.

I just want to take this opportunity to tell that it was the most “perfect” dinner that we could imagine. Bernardo and his crew did a spectacular job. There was nothing we could have wanted that he didn’t provide. The entire senior community was overwhelmed by the beautiful décor and marvelous service not to mention the mouth watering food.

Once again, my sincere thanks and gratitude for everything that was provided to us. We will be sure to spread the word.
