Spammers I am getting 15-20 emails a day. I have used their op-out site over and over yet the spam keeps coming I have called over and over, still it does not stop.

If you ever buy from them you will end up regretting it.

FRAUD WARNING!!!

If you think companies that sell your email address are bad, this is WAY worse! We ordered flowers from ProFlowers in May. There was a coupon you could apply for with your email address. We never continued the transaction for the discount and did not repond to the email. Apparently, ProFlowers gives this other discount company (EasySaver) your CREDIT CARD NUMBER. We were charged a total of $46.80 from this other company. When I called to check on it, the rep said that since we didn't do anything with the email they just started charging us monthly for $14.95!! BEWARE OF THESE COMPANIES!

Visit Your Local Florist Or Shop Online

Are you looking for a special gift for your loved one? Have you done everything you can in the past, bought chocolates, jewelry, little trinkets? Maybe you've never thought about sending flowers, but you should! Everyone loves the beautiful and thoughtful gift of live flowers. Visit your local florist and check out a wide variety of gift ideas.

Your local florist is well experienced in the matters of gift giving. Whether you're sending an arrangement to say I love you, I'm sorry or Congratulations, they'll know just what is right for each occasion. You can also rely on your local florist to take care of sending thoughtful sentiments when someone is in the hospital or has passed away.

If you're wanting to physically take something to someone, it's best to go to a local walk in florist. However, if you'd like to have something delivered locally or across the continent, you can call one of thousands of florists' world wide and have your items taken care of.

Florists don't just have roses and sympathy bouquets. These days, most florists also carry a big line of additional or alternative products. You can select from balloon arrangements or send just one balloon. Many times, a florist will carry a wide range of balloons from Mylar to latex and beyond. You can get balloons with captions or pictures or simply select colored balloons.

Your standard florist can also special order items for you, if you don't see anything you like in store. When you want the very largest assortment of goodies to send to those you love, get online and do a search on Florist and the zip code where you'll be sending the care package. You can deal with a florist who is local to the delivery area or a big name florist who sends items out, worldwide.

You can have flowers and live plants shipped anywhere in the world when you work with a big name florist. You can also often send a variety of food products. You can find fruit baskets, assorted specialty food products like popcorn and nuts or everyone's favorite, chocolates.

You can also ask your florist if they send cookie bouquets. This is a very popular item right now and everyone loves cookies. Make sure you take a little thought when selecting a gift. Don't be afraid to ask your florist for suggestions. They'll be glad to help you send the perfect, well thought gift for any occasion.

Horrible flowers in a box

Isn't it a shame that a company like ProFlowers is even in business? Imagine anyone sending flowers in a box? I just can't believe it. The week before Mother's Day last year, the FedEx guy made a delivery to my business, and he was swamped. He told me he was delivering hundreds of boxes of flowers for ProFlowers. The following week he was back, and again he was swamped. He told me he was REPLACING hundreds of boxes of flowers for ProFlowers. For him it is Job Security. For the people it is DEAD flowers, LOUSY customer service, and flowers in a box. Save yourself a lot of time and agrivation by contacting your local florist. No, not FTD.com or 1-800-flowers.com (they're not local, either) but the little guy down the street who has fresh flowers waiting to be delivered for just for you. His business relies on you. His taxes help your town, and he hires people from the local community. He's very talented and creative, and you can count on the flowers he delivers to be fresh. ProFlowers is a joke. But the people who pay for the flowers aren't laughing. And the corporate officers are laughing all the way to the bank.

Flowers arrived in a boxPosted by mherrin on 03/01/2009

We sent flowers to a funeral-looked fabulous on the website. Found out later they were shipped in a box (no water) to the funeral home. The funeral home had to "arrange" them. They were lilies - not a single open bud and not a single piece of fern or anything. How embarrassing!

THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE ORDERING..TRUTH IS, YOU GOT

EXACTLY WHAT YOU PAID FOR....YOU SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED THAT YOU LOOKED AT THE PICTURE

AND DIDNT BOTHER TO READ, OR EVEN QUESTION FOR THAT MATTER. THERE IS A REASON THAT THE PRICES ARE THAT LOW.....AND IM GUESSING YOU FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY...NEXT TIME USE A LOCAL FLORIST...SAVE SOME MONEY.................AND APPARENTLY "EMBARRASSMENT"

Beautiful roses!

My husband had used ProFlowers last year and did not have any problems. I received a beautiful dozen red roses in a polkadot vase with candy & a small stuffed teddy bear. He had bought these things for me many times before, but never had them delivered to me at home. So it was such a sweet Valentine's Day surprise! As my mom's 65th birthday recently approached, my husband suggested that I use ProFlowers. Therefore, I placed an order just a day and a half before her birthday last month. Although I didn't specify express delivery, the flowers were delivered to my mom well BEFORE noon that day. She said the roses were just beautiful and she could smell them as soon as she opened the box! She was still raving to me about them several days later. I grew up with my parents having a rosebush flowerbed they grew themselves, so I believe they know good roses. Unlike previous reviewers, I can nothing bad about this company at this point. They may not be a local florist, but I think they do a great job!

Nearly Ruin Valentine's Day!!

Well on 21 January 2009 I placed an order for roses from ProFlowers to be delivered on Friday, 13 February 2009. That is 3 weeks before delivery. I received an order number, comfirmation of my order. On 12 February 2009 I looked up the status of my order and saw nothing had been done. So today, 13 February 2009 I contacted customer service only to be told that my order had been placed in LIMBO somewhere. Huh? If there was a problem with my order they should have called or e-mail since they had both. NOTHING!!! Not a call or e-mail. Oh sure they offered apologies. BIG DEAL those are only words but here we are 13 February 2009 and no flowers. Not a dependable company to do business with. I guess it is like "You get what you pay for!" Fortunate for me I notice this problem before it was too late and contact FTD. Sure I paid 5.00 more, but I know my order was delivered according to my wishes and not land in LIMBO and I am NOT in the dog house over idiots at ProFlowers. So pay a few bucks more someplace else and ger dependable, reliable service and remember:""You get what you pay for!"

Deceptive

Ok people here we go..

ProFlowers has taken advantage of the general public's inability to read and comprehend. They show you a picture of blooms in a vase for a very inexpensive price. In the text however, they mention that the flowers come "with" a vase. Well, most people dont read the fine print and they know that, otherwise the print would be larger.

The fact is, a company like proflowers will continue to flourish( nice huh?) due to the ignorance of its customers. I dont blame proflowers, i blame the consumers. You must read and understand.....

example, if you saw a brand new bentley and the price was $20,000 you'd think something was up, wouldnt you????

well, why makes you think flowers are any different????? if a company is offering 1 or 2 dozen roses supposedly in a vase, according to the picture, how do you suppose they can charge $29.99 ?????? That's right, they cant...so how do they do it???? the roses are columbian most likely, short stem ( 40-50 cm) and come to you in a cardboard box.....cute huh??? The recipient then has to stop what she's doing and become a floral designer....pulling off leaves, and thorns and petals, then filling the vase with water and arranging herself....its like a chia pet, except you get thorns in your fingers....

Ok, im gonna drop the bomb......roses arent as expensive as most people believe them to be....even the guys on the street that sell to you by the pack (25 stems) they are doubling their money....colombian roses are generally a little less expensive than ecuadorian roses because of the difference in quality....short stem roses could be had from the miami importers for next to nothing.....granted, as we get close to valentines day, the cost to the florist triples...and not just for roses, for all flowers...why???? because they can....the growers know the wholesalers need product, so the growers set the price...we all get a screwing....look for shops that keep their prices steady all year long.....

keep your money in your community and shop from your local businesses...their the ones who pay to advertise in your kids year books, back of the soccer uniforms, buy girlscout cookies, etc....dont stab them in the back by purchasing out of state...your local florist and your community depend on you.

THIS IS NOT A LOCAL FLORIST! You shouldn't be advertising as though you are. You are a middle man who sends flowers to the local florists. Why should consumers pay an EXTRA fee for your services? Don't deceive them!

NOT A LOCAL FLORIST

CALL AN AREA FLORIST DIRECTLY ON THEIR 800 NUMBER. WHY PAY SOMEONE TO TAKE YOUR ORDER WHEN THE AREA FLORIST DOES IT FOR FREE, KNOWS WHAT THEY HAVE AND CAN TAKE YOUR ORDER DIRECTLY? PUT THE MONEY YOU WOULD PAY THIS PLACE INTO YOUR ORDER.

Horrible

I purchased flowers for my mom on mothers day. I was excited to see that there was free shipping. I saw that it was through a different company, but i figured that I could trust Proflowers since it is a well known company. I signed up for the free shipping, but ended up not using it since it was such a hassle to have to ship in proof of everything. I canceled the membership, and was told that I there would be no payments taken out of my account.

It's now OCTOBER, and they still keep taking money out of my account. $14.95 for what? I had to cancel the card to stop the charges from happening.

Horrible Service

First of all, I WOULD NEVER recommend this site to anyone. They lured me in with 15% off my order and a free vase and I thought I was getting a good deal. However, this proved to be wrong.

I placed my order on 9/24 for delivery on 9/25 and instead of my boyfriend receiving 3 dozen

RED roses for his birthday, he got 8, yes 8 PINK roses. You can only imagine how upset I was. They did refund my full purchase price as soon as I found out which was the only good thing about this place.

My boyfriend told me that he had used them last year to send me flowers and instead of delivering them to my work they didn't deliver them until the next day.

That's twice that they have messed up on orders so please be cautious about using this site in the future.

very good

Have used them several times now....even though the flowers do not come from a local florist they actually ship directly from the growers making the flowers last even longer than what you would get from a florist....exceptional customer service to boot....representative even helped me locate the address of where my last order was going to....

Love this website

I love this website and have never had any problems with them. The flowers have always lasted the 4 times that I've ordered through them. Not to mention, how nice it is to have a package and the sheer excitement attached to the gift, once you've realized that it's flowers!

On the other hand, the first time I ordered, I got suckered into one of the "valuable pop-up coupons" that charged my credit card for months. That was a hassle, but, it was cleared up. Hopefully, by now, they aren't partnering with that vendor anymore.

Overall, very pleased with the product!
