Pet Hospital of North Park

I scheduled an appointment for a general check up so it wasn't like I NEEDED to be seen that same day. When I asked if I could come in she did tell me their afternoon appointments were booked, if I really wanted her to squeeze me in I would have to expect to wait awhile to be seen. Or.....I could take an open appointment the following day where my wait time would be very minimal if any. I chose the next day and wasn't even finished filling out the form when my dog's name was called. Now maybe I just happen to pick a day when business was slow but it's not too often that any kind of doctor's office scheduling is right on time. (I expect to wait at least 20 minutes at my own doctor appointments, who doesn't?) Anyway, the visit went well. The doctor is friendly, the staff are nice - and I could tell they all work together well. I've been to some hospitals where the tension in the air between the staff is sooo obvious, it makes anyone feel uncomfortable, but this place has some good people.

My dog was attacked by a pit - and this was the place that saved him. I went in there practically hysterical and it was all a blur. They handled the "emergency" quite well, especially for not being an actual E R. The doctor there was great, he has a positive attitude and was even willing to stay there after hours to do surgery on my dog. I was not "sent away" or referred to another hospital because it was near closing time. My dog stayed overnight and the next day when I picked him up he looked like a sewn up puppet - but he is ALIVE and I appreciate every one who works at this place who helped.

Shop around some and you will find out that this hospital has the lowest prices. The doctor knows what he's doing, the staff is friendly and helpful

Dr. Osawa is an awesome vet! My dog has had a very bad stomach condition since birth and every time it flares up it is very painful for her...its kind of like puppy colitis. We have been to several different vets over the past 7 years to try and diagnose and prevent the flare ups, and they always prescribed harmful steroids and antibiotics. When we took her to Dr Osawa he took the time to thoroughly research the condition and prescribed a medicine called sulfasalazine which has been AMAZING! We haven't had a problem since! Dr Osawa is a very kind and caring vet and I think that everyone should take their pet there for the very best care.

The staff was very sweet and friendly. Oh and my cat is not so little she's actually kind of fat but they didn't make it seem like she was obese so that was nice!

What I love best about the staff here is that they treat the animals as if they were their own pets. That kind of animal care is hard to find anywhere!

When I was in this area visiting my friends, I brought my dog with me and he was acting really strangely. I asked where I could take him to get looked at and they recommended this pet hospital. They were absolutely right! This pet hospital is great and saw my dog right away and were so wonderful with him!

My Labrador had a severe tumor in his ear that could have possibly killed him so when I took him to North Park Pet Hospital, the staff was very attentive and professional. They were polite and I felt like I could trust them with my pet.

I would definitely rate this pet hospital 5 stars because all of their staff that we've seen are great! Especially the people who answer the phones because they're nice and knowledgeable enough to be able to answer my questions over the phone. They don't rush the call; they take their time to listen to my concerns, which I really appreciate!

I took my dog here for vaccines and his yearly check up. The place was very clean and I was pleased with the service I received. The prices are definitely cheap and I'll be taking my dog here again.

Kevin is great and Dr. Osawa is my favorite vet I've met. Service is always fantastic and the facilities are always well-kept and clean. i know that when I bring my two dogs here, they're treated with the best care.

I would like to say that the many times that I have been to Pet Hospital of North Park, I have received prompt and courteous attention from all the staff. I have been here with and without an appointment and every time they treat me and my dog very well. I would recommend them to everyone.

I have no words to describe how great this place is! All of my visits here have been absolutely wonderful. My sweet little doggie gets sick a lot and I really rely on this place and their services. I don't know what I'd do without them, they keep my dog healthy and able to run and play!

Dr. Osawa is amazing. The doctor and staff are very reliable and trustworthy. They are gentle and kind to the animals and are always doing what's in the best interest for them. I feel more than comfortable taking my cats here when necessary.

This hospital is very clean and friendly. I brought my dog, Max, in for a procedure and they worked out a cost effective procedure without compromising his health and situation. They are very much on their game as far as explanation of the procedures and any questions I had.
