Catalina Linda CPA

I have worked with Linda in a charity organization and watched her work tirelessly helping others. She donated her time even during the busy tax season to attend the different events for our veterans and work late into the evening helping them with income tax questions and budgeting matters. We shared some exhausting moments during our work! I cherished her endless energy and made a great friend out of it in the process.

Ms. Catalina has mentored me in the past for a total of 2 years. During that time, I learned so much about professionalism along with the technical aspects of my job. I passed the CPA exam on the first try thanks to her and have a great position at a large CPA firm. She is fun and was an awesome mentor and boss to me and I will always be thankful that I was assigned to her as a mentee. We met Linda in 2003 at an event and really enjoyed her energy and willingness to get things flying right with our accounting department. She works great with our bookkeepers as a team leader and they look forward to her monthly visit to answer questions and help out in whatever way she is needed. She even takes the team out to a great lunch when she arrives. Just an all-around great person that really cares for the work and we never feel less than Priority One.

Linda has been preparing my personal and corporate tax returns for 15 years. NOTHING has ever been late or misrepresented. She's very organized and truly goes the extra mile. I don't know why the other reviewer gave her a bad review. Maybe they wanted free work and didn't get it? As a business owner, I've seen that happen too often. You will be happy having Linda as your CPA!

POOR SERVICE. RUN DONT WALK! One of those CPAs that doesn't outline their fees, no agreements are signed, work is delivered on or after the deadline, not before. In a last minute ditch effort, this CPA decided to inform me the day of Oct 15th, 2015 that she could not file my taxes. I was left scrambling to clear my schedule, clear my clients appointments, my client missed out on a huge investment, and I was left to figure out my own taxes and file them myself so as not to miss the extension deadline. Once instructed to stop any remaining work after receiving her email, this CPA ignored my request and continued to do work on my filing, and pretends were best buddies now, that she could file them all along, and then sends me a copy of the filing 3 hrs later and an invoice. I am now having to hire an attorney to defend myself against this unethical practice. You do not get to take it upon yourself to do work you were not authorized to do and bill me, then send it to collections in a fraudulent attempt to collect a fee. Are you really hurting for money that bad?! Once a client tells you to stop work, the only thing on that invoice should be work up to that point. This CPA sends an invoice of work she did AFTER THE FACT, and wants to get paid on it. Not happening. A client of mine witnessed the entire email communication and if this has to go to court thankfully she will be there. This CPA was told countless times to STOP any further work on the filing. When a client tells you to stop you STOP. You don't continue to work and bill them for more time just because you feel you can ignore the wishes of a client and add more time onto the invoice. The sleezy practice Ive been a victim to has probably been committed against others. It is my hope that others don't have this same horrible experience.
