X-rays
Oral Cancer Screening
Y our experience will generally begin with a comprehensive oral examination including necessary x-rays, cancer screening, periodontal screening and in some cases, photographs and study models.

Fillings
Norman was having sensitivity in moderate sized mercury amalgam filling. There was also significant darkening around the borders of the filling. A deep crack had developed on the side of the tooth and decay was present in between the teeth. A porcelain Inlay/Onlay was created with CEREC to repair the extensive damage in Norman's Tooth. Colored porcelain glaze was applied to provide a natural appearance in just one visit!
Resin Composite
Composite resin is a tooth-colored material that has been used in dentistry for many years. The materials continue to improve, increasing the durability and aesthetics of these restorations
Veneers

Dr. Masek is able to custom stain the crowns to match the nuances in your own natural teeth, featuring the same "life-like" vitality and blend color.
Bridges
Before: 3 Unit bridge with chipped porcelain molar (supporting metal showing on molar tooth), poor enamel color match to patient's natural teeth, and poor fit around the patient's gumline. After: Replaced Bridge with an All Porcelain Bridge. The new bridge now also matches the patient's natural tooth color and was designed to properly fit around the gumline. Proper fit aids in decreasing decay and the ease of the patient's ability to clean around a bridge.
Dental Bonding
Tammy had composite bonding done for her front teeth several years before seeing Dr. Masek. After completing 8 CEREC Inlays and Onlays on her back teeth, Tammy decided that she was ready to replace her stained and deteriorating bonding. Dr. Masek did a Mock-Up, temporarily bonding composite on her teeth to create a template for her new smile. Tammy wore the Mock-Up for a few days so that family and friends could help her evaluate her new look. Pleased with the results of the Mock-Up, Tammy returned to have 12 CEREC Veneers placed in a single visit to give her a gorgeous smile which she beams to everyone she sees!

Root Canal Treatment
Greg sustained an injury to his mouth in early adolescence causing the nerve inside the tooth to die. Although a root canal was performed to save the tooth, the tooth continued to get darker and darker over the years. After analyzing the tooth, Dr. Masek also noted that his right center tooth was leaning to the left and the edge was tilted. The darkened tooth was shorter and needed to be lengthened to achieve the best possible appearance. These esthetic enhancements were incorporated into the new crown to create a much more pleasing, harmonious smile.

Deep Cleaning
Lasers can be used for a variety of dental treatments. Dental Expressions, we use them in situations that involve gum tissue. Laser disinfection is performed by our hygienists during deep cleaning. Dr.Masek uses a laser for re-contouring a gummy smile or to treat some types of gum disease. Our Diagnodent Laser is used to detect early decay in some teeth.

Dentures
Patients often desire a permanent solution to missing teeth. There are many technologies that Dr. Masek may utilize, dependent on a patient's priorities, values, and expectations. These technologies may include implant placement, bridges, partials or dentures. Speak to Dr. Masek about tooth replacement.

Dental Implants
Before: Patient needs a Single Tooth Replacement of one Upper Central Incisor. After: Smile and function restored with a Single Implant and an All Porcelain Crown (Cap) that fits securely over the implant.
