Charles W. Nager, MD is a board-certified urogynecologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating female pelvic floor disorders such as pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence and lower urinary tract disorders. Dr. Nager believes that these conditions are very treatable and enjoys helping his patients improve the quality of their lives.Dr. Nager performs nearly 200 pelvic surgeries each year and co-directs UC San Diego Health's https://health.ucsd.edu/specialties/obgyn/incontinence/Pages/default.aspx, which provides comprehensive and multidisciplinary care for a wide range of urogynecologic and pelvic floor dysfunctions. As a professor and chair in the Department of Reproductive Medicine, Dr. Nager instructs medical students, residents and fellows. His teaching focuses on urogynecology and his research interests include urodynamics and clinical trials for prolapse and incontinence. Previously, Dr. Nager served as the OB/GYN residency program director at UC San Diego School of Medicine for 10 years. He completed a fellowship in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery at St. Georges University of London and a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at UC San Diego School of Medicine, where he also earned his medical degree. Dr. Nager is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.He is honored to be consistently elected as one of San Diegos Top Doctors in San Diego Magazines Physicians of Exceptional Excellence" annual survey performed in collaboration with the San Diego County Medical Society.
