Navid Saigal, MD, has been practicing Medicine for 16 years and became a part of Renal Associates in 1998. Dr. Saigal studied Medicine at D-J Science College and Dow Medical College, University of Karachi in Pakistan. He relocated in 1992 to New York where he completed his internship and residency studies. He became a fellow at Erie County Medical Center, University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Saigal has board certification in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology. In addition to visiting patients in an outpatient setting, Dr. Saigal reviews the ultrasounds and consults with the Renal Associates physicians regarding those images. Dr. Saigal has spent many hours of his time educating area primary care physicians in early diagnosis of kidney disease and in doing so has helped many patients get an early start on proper kidney care.
Family Practice
I was born in Lebanon, and grew up in tumultuous times in the midst of a civil war. My family relocated to France, hoping for more peaceful times. We lived in the beautiful city of Angers, home to the Tapestry of the Apocalypse, and heart of the once Kingdom of France. After completing high school, I joined the University of Angers, where I obtained both my college and medical school education. In 1996, I graduated with the degree and training in Family Medicine. A commitment to excellence compelled me to seek further education in the United States of America. I joined Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, at the department of Molecular and Human Genetics as a Postdoctoral Fellow; a brief experience in basic sciences that has awarded me with several publications.

Dr. Isbell has been with Renal Associates, PA since October, 1995 when she was the first female to join the group. She grew up in San Antonio and, although not born here, considers San Antonio her “home.” She is married to an Emergency Room Physician and has 4 children ranging in age from 12 to 22. She is interested in General Nephrology but also focuses on renal transplant patients, hypertension and home dialysis modalities including peritoneal dialysis & home hemodialysis.
