        Good

        I went here for lunch with a large group.



        The restaurant looked very nice inside.



        I had a Bacon Swiss Burger. The burger was excellent; one of the best I’ve had in San Antonio.



        I did not care for the fries that came with it. They were very thin.



        The wait staff was very friendly and attentive.



        The prices are very high. Too high for me to go there more than once every few years. (If that even.)



        The burger was $12! Geesh.

        J. Alexander's has the best prices in the city for wine, you won't find a better deal. Their home made Carrot Cake is to die for! It's a great place for business lunch/dinner and families. They spoil you with their amazing service!

        Founded in 1971 as Volunteer Capital Corporation, J. Alexander s opened its first restaurant in 1991 in Nashville, Tenn. J. Alexander s is a contemporary American restaurant that serves American-style food. It uses original artwork as part of its d cor in each of its locations.
