Wow!!! Just left there after 3 1/2 hours of torture to my daughter's hair. DID NOT EVEN FINISH HER HAIR EITHER! The owner said I could come back tomorrow to finish because....... they stopped my daughters hair to start on the next person. I would have to wait until the finished her hair THEN they would return to my daughters hair. So I decided to leave and told the owner since they only applied shampoo and conditioner we would call it even and leave w/out paying. WELL I called my credit card company and they alredy ran the charge thru! HORRIBLE experience and will never go back. Blamed me for wanting to sit in the room with my tenderness 10 year old. Said I caused the hairdresser to be nervous. Really? I told them before I made the appointment. If you cant take it then dont make the appointment!!!!

I was so not impressed with the service here or the knowledge of the stylist. I've been natural over 8 years and I've successfully cared for my own hair and am usually hesitant to allow others to care for my hair due to previous experience from cocky stylists. I thought this would be a better experience after reading reviews but on second look I can only assume that those with a positive experience probably actually think their curls are a "problem" to be "managed". I on the other hand love my healthy, thick, tightly curled hair. First the stylist used horrible washing technique with shampoo further tangling my hair and poorly cleansing and conditioning. Then proceeded to rip the hell out of my hair with a denman brush and blow dryer without adequately or gently detangling first. I should have known better due to the fact that she obviously disliked and could not care for her own "natural" hair because of the obvious bad sew in weave she had in her hair. And her own professed use of a "lil" relaxer to help her own curls blend with weave.... All I originally wanted was a trim because I haven't trimmed my hair in a while and during our consultation she said that she would just blow dry my hair before trimming. She then proceeded to flat iron my hair. Also with poor technique in my opinion. Hopefully once I wash this mess out my curls will revert back to their original beauty and the cut won't be completely horrible. I first went here for a trim to cut off frayed ends and single strand knots after going about 1.5 years without professional trim... But after all the stress and pulling I feel like I just have additional wear and tear on my hair... Awful awful awful... So mad right now! And overpriced as hell. Which I wouldn't mind paying I the service was up to par.
