        As a native of Chicago, I am extremely fond of Italian beef sandwiches and it's usually a struggle to find a quality product outside of Chicago. I must say that Donnie's Italian beef has all the qualities of a beef sandwich I'd get in Chicago. Well done Donnie's ... thanks for getting it right!!!

        I lived in Chicago my whole life and just recently relocated to San Antonio. Their Italian Beefs are just as good as Taylor/Maxwell St. It's nice to have a taste of home. The restaurant was a little hard to find though. It is hidden in a nook inside the shopping center. They have an outdoor seatng area on a deck, which is really nice for a cool summer night.

        This place is so delicious!!! I love it! I've tried the Chicago dog and the Italian Beef! Yummmmm! Being from Chicago myself, it makes me feel like I'm back home again!

        I like the friendly and sporty atmosphere of Donnies Chicago Beef and Vienna hot dogs with the fresh cut fries, the food is reasonably priced and Delicious the homemade Italian Ice is refreshing. Glad to have this addition to Tx. I finally found a restaurant that has Vienna Beef hot dogs Polish Sausages and a generous amount of meat on the Beef for a reasonable price. Donnie's makes me feel at home from the beautiful Painting of the City of Chicago across the wall to the sport memorabilya. Thank you for coming to Tx.

        Amazing!

        Lived all my life in Chicago, and about a year ago moved to San Antonio. I have to say this place is awesome!!! I felt right at home. I can now say I have the best of both worlds..... great weather and great Chicago style fast food joint.
