Chris and Jimmy from A-US AIR CONDITIONING in Garland, TX, contractors of AHS company, came to my house. These guys were COMPLETELY unprofessional. They refused to complete the job work order and walked out without giving me a receipt. They were rude lazy and just didn't want to work and refused to write the problems that was found. Chris and Jimmy lied to me. Said he will get charged if he diagnose the problem. I am so dissatisfied. I still have a problem with my AC that is covered under my home warranty. I WILL NEVER VOLUNTARY USE THIS COMPANY!!!!😞 Apparently they refuse to replace and fix items because it's covered under home warranty. They want to charge for items not covered and problems still exist. AMERICAN HOME SHIELD NEEDS TO END AGREEMENTS WITH THIS CONTRACTOR and get a contractor with INTEGRITY who doesn't give customers the run around!!!!!!! 😡

my home insurance company AHS provided me this company on 05/25, ( dispatched # 380529682 ) the tech named Chris F came to my house and found a leak and fixed the problem. But the air conditioner wasn't cooling enough again and l called again and the Tech came after two days and said everything looks okay. After 5 days, the air conditioning stop working completely and i called all day and their phone always went to the answering machine. I called again and AHS they re displaced again to the company, but the company called me really late at 04:45 PM on 08/04/16 after 24 hours Thursday and said it will take 5 days to see the problem, the customer service lady was very unprofessional and said they can't help me anymore and to call the AHS again. Now i have no air condition at my house and my house temperature is more then 100, think they're not professional . I have very bad experience with this company and I don't recommend this company even if they did their service free of cost.

Assigned as contractor through AHS. First appt took 5 days to schedule. No repair, I needed a new compressor. Another 5 days to order that and schedule another appt. Phone tag for a whole day with the dedicated scheduler for that, as he didn't answer his phone and only left his name and number in reply to my content messages. The compressor installation took 3 hours and cost me $300 for freon--AHS warranty does not cover freon. I had delayed a trip for the repair, so I left town the next day. When I returned, I became aware that the system was still not cooling properly. So I scheduled another appt. That repair lasted less than 6 hours. I've now been without a/c in June in Texas. AHS is not being helpful.

I had a terrible experience. Let me start off by saying that I owned my own business so I have a lot of grace with businesses and try to understand that they are run by humans and that a bad review can really hurt them. In this case though, I feel I have a moral obligation to speak out against such an unethical company. I have used this company because they were the preferred vendor for my home warranty program. They have had to come out 4 times in the past 2 months since I've purchased my home. Each time I have had issues with the service. The first time they didn't fix my a/c properly and it leaked all over my hard wood floors and ruined my entry. They took pics and said they would call back to address, but it has been nearly 60 days and not a word. Then they said they'd be out at 8 am and didn't show up until after 6 pm. My infant son and I waited in sweltering Texas heat for 10 hours for them to show up. No apologies. Then, by the time they couldn't get the part they needed until the next day. My real estate agent was so annoyed with them, she paid for us to stay in a hotel out of pocket. This last time, they didn't use the proper piece to repair and instead chose to do patch work. Of course 4 days later the patch was no longer holding up. When I called and asked to speak to a manager, the cr rep said there were no managers available and she was the only person I could speak to about this and her suggestion was that i call the warranty company. It wasn't until I took down her name and told her that she better be sure there was no one else I could talk to because I would hold her personally responsible if something happened to my son because they wouldn't come back out to repair the bad job they did. Within 15 seconds, she was able to produce a manager. This "manager", Katie Hudson, was rude, and passed the buck. She offered no apology or help. She blamed the warranty company and suggested I call them. Thank goodness for AHS. Not only did they cover hotel bills, but they personally called the a/c company and made sure they got someone out same day.

Absolutely the worst........vendor of choice for home warranty companies......should tell u something.....(american home shield.....worthless too)......10 days to order a part for a repair...in the end, they ordered the wrong part. STAY AWAY!!!!! Sets new standards in ineptness. Not only didnt fix the issue, actually made it worse resulting in an additional $1000 in damages. Technician and install coordinator couldn't coordinate and fix a baloney sandwich....Clearly the place that hires all hack/non-skilled AC guys.....or the ones that couldn't hack it or got fired from the legitimate ac companies in SA...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.............DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!!!

Horrible company. Our company hired through an automated service (so you get who you get for A/C). The people in the office don't know what's going on half the time, pass the buck off to someone else, and avoid trying to help you. We were billed twice on one instance. On another, they took 2 weeks to take care of an A/C issue in 98 degree weather. Their service department is different from their parts department so don't expect to get anything done, or any communication whatsoever. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't bother calling them. No window of time when they will show up, and oh, if you miss their "courtesy call" before they come, they just don't show, and don't tell you they are not showing. This is not explained when you make the appointment. They knew I was waiting all day for them, I called them twice and was told there were other customers ahead of me but they would be on their way soon. Most horrible run business I've ever come across. No wonder they are affiliated with American Home Shield. Crap attracts crap I guess.
