        Overall

        I heard great things, but it didn't quite live up to expectations. I would say that the food is slightly better than average if you are willing to pay slightly higher than average prices.

        Well, you don't go to a barbecue place for chicken, so I'm sorry to hear about that last guy's experience. I didn't order the chicken, so I probably missed his gripes.Anyway, the pulled pork and brisket were fantastic. The beans were terrific, and I loved the variety of sauces.I would say that this place rates a hair lower than Famous Dave's, but is less expensive, so the quality-per-price ratio for me was overall higher for Sugarhouse Barbeque (sic) Company. I highly recommend it for those of us who are fortunate enough to have low cholesterol.

        Too much for something not that great.

        I ordered the salad w/ chicken, 1. BBQ Salad, is shredded this wasnt. And it usually has bbq sauce, this didnt. The Cherry wood wings, honestly, I couldnt have had it dryer unless I left them in my fridge for a week. The price of the salad was $7, i could have used the stuff at my house and made a better salad for less. $8.50 for wings that chapped my lips is just awful. I will never return to this rest.

        I am not a big meat eater but I swear by this BBQ. The smoked turkey is delicious and the sides are great too!

        This is the real BBQ deal!! The pulled pork sandwhich is heavenly, as are the ribs! This is my favorite BBQ here in SLC.
