This was my first time at Honey Nails and it will no doubt be my last. The staff's behavior was both unprofessional and offensive! My sister went in just to get flowers painted on her big toes today and the lady charged her $22 - the price of a FULL SERVICE pedicure! We tried to be nice and not make a big deal out of it, so we paid the $22 but made it clear that we believed $22 was a bit steep for two painted flowers (complimentary at most salons) and tip should be included with that price. If that wasn't bad enough, the lady very loudly complained to her coworker (the lady doing my nails) about us. She openly admitted that she shouldn't have charged my sister the price of a full pedicure just for two painted flowers, but my sister "looked like she could afford it". Excuse me? That's very wrong to assume. We are both college students who work to save up to treat ourselves to mani/pedis. We've gotten our nails done several times before, so we know what price to expect for the work being done. And since we're both students working minimum wage, we usually leave very nice tips because we know how it feels like to work hard for very little money. This was unacceptable. While I was getting my own nails done, the ladies not only blatantly talked about us remarking on everything from our appearance to our "greediness", but said some very rude things about the other customers in the salon as well. After applying the top coat to my nails (not the gel top coat that she was supposed to) she sent me to sit at a table to dry my nails while she took another customer and forgot about me. I was sitting there for at least 20 minutes until another girl saw me waiting and rung me up. Yes, we understood your language. No, you don't have to like your job or your customers, but at least try to act like it when they're in earshot. No, not every day is going to be as busy as others, but that still means you have to charge the customers who do come in a fair price or they won't return. I'm very glad that I called them out on everything before I stormed out. We paid exactly what they asked for my manicure and my sister's pedicure but we did not tip either ladies. Please don't go here. I would give this place a 0 star rating if there was an option to.

I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. Let me start off by saying that I get my nails done very regularly (so I know what to expect pricewise and qualitywise) and I usually tip very generously too, because I understand how much work and time goes into doing nails! Today was my very first time at Honey Nails and I absolutely regret it! All I wanted was to have a flower painted on each of my big toes (something that would cost around $2-$3 at other salons...I know some that would even offer it for free). I already had my toes painted and everything, so I told her that I did not even want to get my feet wet... I just wanted the flowers that would take a minute each to paint on. She made me soak my feet and put on some lotion (she did not even give me the other services that came with a usual pedicure like pumicing or a foot massage) yet she charged me the price of a full pedicure which was $22! I did not get my feet scrubed, pumiced, massaged, and since my toes were already painted, she did not have remove polish, clean up my cuticles, or repaint them! I didn't want to make a big deal, so I paid the $22 (for a service that was worth less than $5), but I made sure she understood that I wasn't willing tip her on top of that because 1. I did not get what I wanted and 2. Getting flowers painted on two toenails is NOT worth $22! If that wasn't bad enough, she was terribly rude and spoke openly about me to a coworker thoughout my whole time there (not just after the not tipping incident). I speak the language fluently and understood everything, but even if I didn't, they made it very clear that they were not saying nice things about me and blantantly pointing. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE AGAIN, AND I WOULD ADVISE EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY!

Excellent customer service. Great job on my nails! And they even have a punch card. This is definitely my new nail place for sure! The friendliness and conversion was great! It must have changed since the last bad review.

Less than 1 star-- horrible!!!!

I called ahead to make sure I could go in with both my daughters. They said they could accommodate 3 at the same time. Not only did I walk out without a pedicure but the staff was dressed extremely unprofessional, their kids were there running around and being naughty so the workers had to keep getting up to deal with them. The tv was loud and not relaxing. They didn't even use hot wax on my daughters. They basically just soaked their feet, rubbed lotion on them and then painted them. This not a relaxing or pleasant experience- will never go there again!!!!

My nails look great!

Julie is amazing. She has a lot of experience so she is fast and my nails look perfect. Everyone is nice and I like that they are open Sunday's. Also, after you buy 10 full sets of nails you get one free.

You'll B Sorry..When he doesn't even have a Lisence

I wanted a full-set gel tip service and the girl at the front desk had me sit down and let an unexperienced male (not that I'm against any male doing my nails) "try" to do my nails. I complained to him at the very beginning that I wasnt sure if he knew how to do nails if he was already putting the acrylic tips on crooked and he acted like he didnt know english or what I was even talking about. Well as time went on it was obvious he didnt have the experience or a license to do nails and the whole process was just sooo sloppy he made my nails look bumpy and thick with all the "goo" he kept trying to make into nails. I would not recommend this nail salon to anybody who is interested in getting their money's worth....I ended up having the "so called manager" Dan try to fix my nails and I have to say that he was such a sweetheart.......not until I complained then they started kissing my "you know what".

As the owner of the salon I can assure every one that all nail techs have a cosmetology license as required by the state. The licenses are also displayed in the shop. I take customer complaints seriously, I am sorry to this individual especially as I only came accross this post years after it was made. The individuals they mention have not been at Honeys nails for about 3 years close to the time of this complaint. I can asure every one that the current manager Julie will go out of her way to ensure you are pleased with your visit.
