Hong Kong House Chinese Rstrnt

Never will I order from Hong Kong again! This is my second time ordering for delivery. The first time I ordered, they messed up my order and I was too hungry to complain. Tonight was my second time. I made a simple delivery order. When I received my food, I did not receive one of the things I ordered, it was something else. I calmly and nicely called to tell them I did not receive what I ordered and the woman on the phone demanded they did right and that I was wrong! I'm sorry, I know what Orange Chicken is.. I explained that it was not What I ordered. The woman continued to yell at me and demand that I come in so she can show me what Orange Chicken looks like. Really?? I will NEVER again go/order from them again!

I have been eating here for 15 years and they even deliver!!!! Its always great food, and if you"re late for the restaurant, they will serve you in the lounge up until a certain time.Tea is great, price is great and food is fabulous!!!

Went there for lunch this week and the service was very quick and the food was very good. And for the price, about $5, can't beat that. There are a lot of good chinese restaurants in Salem and this is definately one of them.

Why not have a menu posted, I am sure if you did you would get more business for delivery and then you could hire people to deliver, I am sure your like most othe Chinese Restaurants but it would be helpfull to know what you have to offer and your prices.

ummm excuse me.... WE have drivers...during 4-8 we only deliver in the south salem area.. unless it's slow. please do not report things that are not true.

i called and ordered for delivery. they did not even have a driver. they advertise delivery but do not follow through. why say something if you don't even have the resources to do it?

Called the order in and it was ready when I got there. We had BBQ pork, BBQ pork fried rice and BBQ pork egg fu young. The quantaties were huge. We could have fed six people easily. Quality was good. This place has been under several different owners over the years. Some better than others. I would rate it on a par with the original China City. It's also a nostalgia trip to eat on site because the layout and decor are much the same as they were circa 1960!

It may look bad on the outside but...wait till you get inside...it's the best!!!! Everyone that works there is always polite. We go there twice a month and we just love it.

This is a great place for lunch or dinner. Definitely the best Chinese food in Salem. I have taken business clients, associates, and family to this restaurant and in each instance there was nothing but praise!

The Hong Kong House is hands down, the best Chinese food in Salem. With quick and friendly service, you will receive food that tastes amazing and doesn't put a hole in the wallet.
