Palm Bay Hotel

The ad for this hotel on craigslist said you will love this place. Absolutely untrue. We were charged a cleaning fee although our room had not been cleaned properly. Upon entering the room you were greeted with a stale smell of filth and grime. The carpeting was filthy the walls were even filthy. The front desk attendant was supposed to clean our room but the microwave and refrigerator both had old food hardened inside them. Also the bathroom floor had body hair as well as pubic hair on it. The toilet had not been properly cleaned in a very long time. There were bugs in the room not sure if they were bedbugs but some type of bug at any rate. Also we could hear rodents scratching around in the walls late at night. We were told there were hot water issues. In reality there was no hot water if you are expecting to take a hot shower you will not be able to take a hot shower in this place. Being in downtown Saint Pete was not worth the stress over waking up in a filthy stinking room. For $300 a week this could have been a decent place to stay instead of a depressing dirty hovel.

For the price your going to pay might as well stay in a well known hotel. Ex. Hampton, Holiday Inn, etc. Place has Bed bugs, no hot water (maybe for 4 hours a day!), the wifi is so bad not even worth connecting to and the staff is rude and don't know what customer service is. Paying almost 300$ a week and you have to deal with all and more of the above. Do yourself a favor and never stay here...save your money.

I have not stayed here but was thinking about it and came accross there reviews. I too have been unable to get thru to them via telephone. And for the person who responded by saying it cnt have bed bugs since the mattresses r covered in plastic and u bring ur own bedding, u need to do some research on bed bugs b4 u comment just in case someone is actually going to listen to ur review. Bed bugs live in curtains, clothes, wood, carpet, almost everything. So it is 100% possible to have bed bugs even without a bed.

bad mistake . the room is full of bugs, ac barely works, and power has went off twice the 1st night and worst is no refunds .

For the weekly rate you can't beat this place in downtown St. Pete. The Mattresses are covered in plastic and you bring your own blankets so Taxidriver16 must have brought the bed bugs with him. Good AC, Free Cable & WI-FI. Also, very secure and quiet once your inside the motel. They have a very attractive downstairs patio area with palm trees and other foliage. Also, I love being able to just walk a few feet to the little convenience store attached. It's not the Ritz but what do you expect for under 2 bills a week and everything included?

I have been attempting to make contact with someone at this motel NUMEROUS times since March 13th and find it impossible. My son was arrested on the 12th and I wanted to pay his rent and get his belongings if had to. The number given above it disconnected and impossible to make contact with anyone. Now his belongings are GONE. This place sucks

I love it because it has a deli in it and a mini store right next to it I love this place.

Hated it, gotten eaten up by bed bugs....
