Bel -Air Apartments

They are not the best units in the world ,but you get what you pay for. The management isn't the best. They take forever to fix anything. Little small ants in the apartment. We had a baby mouse in the apartment. Bats outside at night. Flimsy window glass. The towing company looks for any oppurtinuity to tow you. The washer and dryer units are old and ratty. On the flip side we haven't had any major issues such as break ins or anything like that. The rent is fairly cheap. Me and my fiance have a one one. When our leases is up we are moving.

Its a horrible place to live, management sucks. Horrible service, and they will tow your car if you park over the line in a parking space for "double parking". Maintenice never comes on time and its just bad servies. DONT MOVE THERE.

As you can probaly tell from my title my review is mainly about neighbor noises coming from other apts. Belair Apts is by far the worst that I've ever experienced. You can hear everyday activity through the floors and walls such as talking, phones ringing, alarm clocks going off, coughing and just about anything that you would want to keep private from your neighbor. In the hallways you can hear every door close or slam shut, footsteps and conversations. You can even hear people across the hall inside their apts with there doors shut as if they were just outside your door. My wife and I moved in a few months ago and its been hell. We've had a neighbor that is extremely loud and didnt want to cooperate by lowering the volume and reducing their fights. It took two months of complaining to get the staff to do anything about it. Management is pretty much excuse makers and procrastinate on doing anything. The dryers in the laundry facility dont work very well and the company that manages them isnt in any hurry to really fix them. Of course management here passes responsibilty to the laundry company and wont do anything about it. We can even smell smoke coming from the apt below us even with all the doors and windows shut. The windows are old and single paned and dont keep drafts out. Carefull you will have high electric bills here. We moved in because we liked the size of the apt and that we had a lake view, but after talking to the other tenants around here we realized that looks can really be deceiving. Almost everyone we've talked to here are experiencing these problems and more. Beware when youre thinking of moving in here especially if you dont like noisy neighbors and are non smokers.
