Caleco's Restaurant

The service was good but the food was bad. None of our dinners we're good.

Terrible 2 hour wait for food, came cold and they ran out of mashed potatoes staff had attitude and they said they were busy? You're a restaurant

For four years, at least once a month we ate lunch here. They have great salads that really are a full meal and their prices on the lunch menu are great.

My family and I were seated at the table and the waitress took our order for our drinks. We waited a long time and then she brought all of us water and never got our drinks. She came back to take our dinner order and never wrote it down. She asked us what kind of salad dressing we all wanted and and before I could say what I wanted, she said that I wanted french and I told her no that I wanted ranch. She walked away and a came back with our salads and i got french dressing and I told her that it was the wrong dressing. She came back three times to ask us what we ordered. I suggested that she should write the order down, and her reply was rather rude. She said " good assumption, good idea, and i will have to write that in my notes." I couldn't even believe that she said that to us. We were about to drop 75.00 dollars there and I asked for a manager and I told him what was happening and we wanted to leave. I told him that we would pay for our salads and he said that he would pay for them and told us to leave. He could care less what happened.We found a much better place to eat and appreciated. I hope that place shuts down for the way they treat their customers. I give one star and they don't even deserve that.

Good food and a great atmosphere for a quick sit down or a family dinnwr! Food is excellent!

Just stumbled upon Caleco's during Fair St. Louis. Wonderful food and excellant service. price was great. Would definately eat there again.
