I love this store!! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and ready to help at anytime!! Having many band members in my family it's nice to go to s friendly place that keeps track of their customers needs in case you want to pick up that perfect surprise!!

I'm going 2 make this really simple: Great people! I've never been in Skip's that every person I asked anything of, from sales persons, to counter people, to the guitar (my gig) technicians at the back who wasn't both friendly (the ladies charming) & didn't have the time to help me with what I needed, answer my question(s) & take it beyond that to see if there were anything else they could help me with or someone else to whom they might direct me.



The selection of instruments & books & strings and, well, things, is vast. The prices reasonable (being honest here, I'll tell you I'm no great "shopper" so I won't say, "Hey! Their prices can't be beat !!! " But I've been around the block a few times and the prices were just fine with me -- though they have frequent sales & you might want to wait around for those.



Le'ssee...uhm...so in that large selection you've got instruments priced for beginners (& you know, well, you just get what U pay 4, right? At the high end, merchandise of your choices are just the same. If you're after a Les Paul Gold Top or Sunburst or an Eric Clapton Signature Strat, well, you're going to pay for it. Hey, I'd like it for free too, but I'm not Eric..., not quite anyway. Not yet.



So, there you have it. I could go on, but that essentially covers the bases (pun intended) & the six strings. You drummers & keyboard folk & horn & reed men...oh, & ladies of course, will have to check it out 4 yourselves. And that be it from my end.
