General Info
The Museum property originally belonged to poet, lawyer, conservationist, political activist, patron of the arts, and preservationist William Cullen Bryant, who settled in Roslyn in 1843. In addition to the Arnold & Joan Saltzman Fine Art building, Nassau County Museum of Art includes the Sculpture Park, Formal Garden of historic importance, the Pinetum, an architecturally-significant restored trellis, rare specimen trees, and marked walking trails.

Location
Via Long Island Expressway or Northern State Parkway: Exit at Glen Cove Road (#39 on LIE, #31 on Northern). Drive north to the intersection with Route 25A/Northern Boulevard. Turn left (westbound). Continue two blocks to the museum entrance on the right. Directions by Train: Long Island Railroad from Penn Station. Take the Oyster Bay line to the Roslyn station or the Port Washington line to the Manhasset station. The museum is a short taxi ride from either station.
