IHOP

I was out to eat breakfast with my 83 year old mother and my daughter. Another customer gave me a coupon for $5 off of $20 which I was happy to receive and thought was so kind of the person. When we went to order they wouldn't let us use the coupon because my mother was ordering a senior meal. I asked the waitress to just give a separate check for the senior meal as my mother did not want a larger meal and use the coupon on mine and my daughter's meal. The waitress said okay and then walked away. A few minutes later the manager walked up to our table and said nastily that she understood there was a problem here. I said, "not that I know of" as I didn't know what she was talking about. She continued to tell me that we could not have separate checks and the coupon could not be used because my mother ordered a "senior" meal. I tried to explain to her that my mother only wanted a one egg breakfast and the manager continued telling me that what I was saying didn't make any sense as the only breakfast they have with one egg is a senior breakfast. I couldn't believe it. I asked her are you being nasty to me? I just wanted to have a nice breakfast with my mother and daughter and I was being treated badly at this restaurant. I told her well how about I don't use the coupon at all!!! This was so humiliating. I felt attacked at this restaurant by the manager. I told the waitress the coupon could not be used and two separate checks could not be used it would be better to let me know this rather than have the manager come over and be nasty to me for a reason I didn't understand. I will never go back to this IHOP restaurant ever again! I usually go to the IHOP in Cockeysville were people know us by name and are much kinder and definitely know how to treat people better. I felt truly humiliated at the Rosedale IHOP.

Customer service is the worse and the food isn't much better. Will never eat there again.
