General Info
Native to Arkansas, I grew up in Conway and attended Harding University where I graduated with a degree in American Studies. During my sophomore year at Harding, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy and also got to enjoy some of that time traveling around Europe. Following graduation, I attended law school at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. During my time in law school, I worked as a law clerk for the Arkansas Attorney General's Office. Upon receiving my attorney license, I practiced for a short time as a criminal defense attorney before returning to the Attorney General's Office as an Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Division where I represented state boards and agencies. During my employment there, I also spent time working in the Consumer Protection Division where I was responsible for enforcing the provisions of the tobacco master settlement agreement. In 2004, I left the Arkansas Attorney General's Office and moved to Portland, Oregon where I attended Multnomah University and received a Master of Divinity. I also passed the Oregon Bar Exam to receive my Oregon law license. In 2010, I relocated back to Arkansas and worked as an attorney for the Arkansas Department of Human Services handling foster care cases in Benton County. Matthews, Campbell, Rhoads, McClure and Thompson, P.A. invited me on board in 2013 where I currently handle a wide variety of cases including divorce, custody, guardianship, adoption, criminal, personal injury, estate planning, business litigation, and administrative hearings. I am a certified domestic relations Attorney ad Litem where I represent children in custody, visitation, or guardianship disputes. I am also a certified mediator with the Arkansas Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission qualified to mediate civil, probate, and family matters. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Court Appointed Special Advocates for Northwest Arkansas. I am also on the Advisory Committee for the Northwest Arkansas Community College Paralegal Program and the Benton County Children's Advocacy Center.
