        Good food-good price

        We've been going to Amaya's or 10 years and they are always good. They have good prices and you get a decent amount of food. The margaritas are good but they put in too much ice so you don't get nearly as much as it appears.

        Worst Mexican food i have ever eaten and i've teaen at at least 40 different Mexican restaurants. I ordered a combo plate, which I usually do at an unfamiliar Mexican restaurant. It gives you a good idea of how good all the food is overall. I am serious about how bad it was. Bland to actually bad-tasting. Poor quality ingredients on 90% of what was served. Queso dip appetizer was not real cheese. Refried beans had been thinned down in the cooking pot repeatedly with water. Truly terrible food! Any other Mexican restaurant I've tried in Ellis County, even those I'm not fond of< is better than this one!
