Randolph Diner

I really don't understand the first reviewer referring to flies & unclean knives. Did they pull up a chair in the kitchen & observe all day? I am a former F & B manager at a 4-star hotel and my family is very picky as to where to dine. We are frequent customer's of the Randolph Diner and we find it to be a great family neighborhood eatery. Diner's are not fine dining establishments, they are not perfect but just a simple family owned, down to earth comfort food eatery. We pass up other Diners & chain restaurants just to relax at the Randolph Diner and enjoy their specials and anything from their menu is just plain good Diner food. The fact is this place has more + for them than - and they pack em in so they're doing something right. All of us and many that we know appreciate the Randolph Diner and their staff and we're glad you're in the neighborhood! Thanks guys!

New Jersey has the most diners per capita of any other state in the union, yet the Randolph Diner still manages to set itself apart from all the others. Not only does it have a warm family atmosphere, but also a menu serving up an incredibly diverse selection of foods. Everything from steaks, seafood, Greek, and Italian delicacies to more traditional fare such as burgers and salads, you'll be hard pressed to find something you won't like. However, be sure to bring your appetite, the good people of the Randolph Diner do not believe in skimping on their portions.With a menu filled with food to fit nearly any taste, hearty portions, and very reasonable prices, what's not to like? So if you're in the area, or even if you have to drive a bit out of your way, be sure and stop in to see what diners should really be like.

The food is non the less very good. But do we really know how well the food and the kitchen arre kept maintained? No we don't and lret me tell you something, there are flies, food that should be refrigerated left out. knives used for cutting sandwiche after sandwich and not cleaned or wiped down even. The safest thing to order from there is on the grill, this way most bacteria is killed there.
