Raleigh Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Dave Olson is the BEST! We live more than 30 minutes away from the practice but would still drive twice that distance to see him. We have two children and although most of our visits have been for routine care, we have absolutely called on them in an emergency capacity a couple of times. The office decor and setup is totally geared toward children and the staff is attentive, responsive and patient. Our children have had zero fear because everyone there is so thoughtful about taking each visit at the child's pace - not the office's schedule. We recommend them without reservation.

Would definitely recommend. I've been taking my 2 children (currently ages 7 and 9) to Dr. Dave for over 4 years. My youngest was very timid at the beginning and the hygienists and Dr. Dave were all very patient with him. Dr. Dave explained that they can clean and check his teeth without "forcing" him to lie back in the chair (my ds hated that at first) and they explain the procedures to the kids on a kid's level so that it's not so scary to them. Both my kids have no problems with going to the dentist. Everyone in the office has always been very pleasant. I love the way Dr. Dave and the hygienists talk and explain things to the kids instead of talking "over" them to me.

I MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR MY 2 KIDS, AND I HAVE TWO INSURANCES FOR DENTAL. THE FRONT DESK ADVISED ME TO PAY 'UPFRONT' . WHY SHOULD HAVE TO PAY UPFRONT WHEN I HAVE 2 DENTAL INSURANCES. A YOUNG WOMAN WHO WAS A FORMER EMPLOYEE STATED THAT THIS WAS A PROCESS TO "WEED" OUT THE CLIENTS WHO HAVE CANCELLED OR WAS LATE FOR THEIR APPOINTMENTS, IN HOPES TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. wow !!!!

We LOVE Dr Dave and the hygentists at Raleigh Peds Dentistry. All 3 of my kids have had great experiences there and actaully look forward to going to the dentist. We have been going for almost 5 years. Yes, in the beginning we did have some long waits and a couple of rescheduled appts at the office's conveinence, but in the last couple of years the waits have been 5-10 minutes MAX and the office staff seems to have it togheter. Regardless, we love the dentist so much we refer friends there all the time.

I took my daughter to the dentist for the 1st time. We planned the visit far in advance. I woke up to a voice mail requesting that I reschedule due to someone not showing up work. When I returned the call they said they made arrangements to "fit" my daughter in. When we arrived, we waited while an office assistant finished her conversation on FACEBOOK chat. When we were acknowledged, I was given a clipboard to fill out. They were behind schedule by about 15 min. When we went to the back, the hygienist/ assistant was AWESOME! She was so patient! My daughter loved her. The dentist came and he was GREAT as well! We really like the dentist however, while checking out I got into a dispute with the office staff. I was so irritated I canceled my daughter's future appointment and will be finding a new office. I wish I could have the dentist without his office staff! :(

Every visit has been excellent over the past three years. They have always been on time, interested in each patient, and eager to explain and discuss issues going on with my children. I love that they can schedule all three for the same time slot! My daughter had to have 3 teeth pulled at age 8. Dr. Dave and his staff were so kind and skilled, that she ASKED after the extraction when she would get to COME BACK. Now, that's a great dentist! I
