I like LA Fitness, they have all equipment, lots of mirrors. Cleen bathrooms. Friendly staff. I've lost 20 lb4s.

Someone was giving out 3 day passes at a farmers market I went to, so I thought I'd try it out. The initial plan was JUST to use the pass and be done with it. I had no intentions of starting a membership at first because I heard LA fitness was really expensive!! But I was hooked after my first day. All the equipment was in good condition. The classes were challenging but fun! (I took a kickboxing and step class with a teacher named Shawn and had the best workout of my life) The pool, sauna, and jacuzzi were very well taken care of. And the large locker rooms were very convenient! Inside were separate rooms to relax, use the restroom, shower, and change n blow dry ur hair. My ONLY problem was a staff member named victor who couldn't get it in his head that I am still a high school student, living w my parents, and just starting a part time job. Although I realized the expensive fees were worth it.. I can't just come up with the money right on the spot! I told him I'd like to finish using my pass and then wait a lil while for my first check to come in. And THEN pay the initiation and monthly fees. But everyday for a week, he'd still call and leave a voicemail asking if I was ready. Then he'd ask while I was at the gym. And TODAY, he called for me to come in, and when I did and told him ONCE AGAIN my situation, he became very rude. And said it was a good idea for me to go home. SO rude. I complained to the manager and he was very kind and apologized for victor's rudeness. And that he had already given him a something-day notice.. I guess to quit. But I'm unsure if he just said that to make me less upset. So i'm still putting into consideration whether i personally want to continue saving up for that membership. If i have to deal with a rude staff member day after day, i might as well join the 4 women's only gym down the street. But despite my situation.. The gym is BEAUTIFUL and worth every bit of ur money!
