Lakewood School Of Therapeutic Massage

Attending Lakewood was the best experience of my life. I learned things about the body, abd myself that I could never have imagined. I definitely recommend it to anyone interested in a career of Massage Therapy! Student clinic is also wonderful and affordable!

Currently embarking on my second year of medical school, I cannot believe how much of the material I learned at Lakewood is resurfacing in my Basic Medical Sciences courses. From grounding and centering to better focus on your work to maintaining a patient/client centered approach, from professionalism skills to muscle attachments and actions from Kinesiology, I keep being able to relate what I am learning now to what I Lakewood has given me. Lakewood's program provides so much more than just the techniques necessary to get a job as a Massage Therapist - which has absolutely been my favorite occupation to date - but can be a great stepping stone for those interested in pursuing further studies in healthcare. A huge "Thank You!" to Nancy and all of Lakewood's amazing faculty, staff and students.

Most education hours for cost of tuition! Fantastic students, student clinic, and school store that serves the public!

As a newly diagnosed MS patient, I seem to have more aches and pains then I have ever had. The students are very well trained, with an instructor over seeing the students. The massage clinics hours and pricing are very accomadating and I have not had one bad massage at Lakewood in the over 8 months of going there twice a month. I would highly recommend giving the school a try. I walk out of that hour long massage feeling awesome!
