Following residency Dr. Braaksma completed two 1-year fellowship programs. Dr. Braaksma spent 1-year at the world-renowned Harborview Medical Center/University of Washington in Seattle Washington where he completed a foot-and-ankle fellowship with a heavy emphasis on operative fixation of lower extremity fractures and total ankle replacements.
