Walmart - Vision Center

We took my car to the Wal-Mart at 425 Coit Rd. in Plano to have a routine oil change on the evening of 4/20/2009. I carpool to work, so I do not drive my car on a daily basis. The next time I drove my car, 4/24/09, we noticed that the hood latch was broken. I called Wal-Mart and was told to bring the car in on Saturday to talk to the store manager about it. We did, and they took our claim and some photos and told us we would be hearing from their insurance, CMI. CMI denied the claim, saying, "There is no proof that Wal-Mart broke it." Here is the proof: It was not broken, we took it to Wal-Mart for an oil change, and now it is broken. They also said I waited too long to tell them, but didn?t verify my mileage to see that I had not driven the car again until the day we reported the problem. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, contacted Wal-Mart?s regional manager, Niki Baynor, and exhausted all other options, so we are stuck paying for something that Wal-Mart broke.

I have always been able to find whatever I need and the store is always clean, however, this location needs a little improvement on their customer service.
