In November of 1999, the Lord spoke to the heart of Pastor Samuel Campbell to pastor a church. After consulting with his wife Rosemarie, she also confirmed that the Lord had been dealing with her about the same thing. A short time later, Samuel Campbell shared his heart with Mr. Randolph Woods and Ms. Joanne Hollis (then Commissioner for the Housing Authority) about looking for a place to begin holding services. God granted favor to Pastor Campbell and on December 12, 1999, Commissioner Hollis opened the doors of the Plainfield Housing Authority Day Care Center to Holy Ground Outreach Ministries. God's favor was extended to Pastor Campbell and the church didn't have to pay for the use of the Center until August 2000. Holy Ground went on to relocate several more times until finally settling on the West End, their current address at 208 Muhlenberg Place, Plainfield, NJ. Holy Ground Outreach has been anointed and appointed by God to set souls free through deliverance, the prophetic and the uncompromised Word of God. Many know it as a " Spiritual Hospital ". God has set his name upon the doorpost of this establishment and has moved mightily through the Shepherd to bring about healing and restoration to His people in the Plainfield community
