Horrible business! do not go here

I have had horrible service with these people. I returned a bike I was leasing and was told everything was done and I should recieve my deposit back in the mail. I didn't receive my deposit however I did receive a bill for almost $6, 000 ! I was in shock. The list of repairs they said they had to do was bogus and huge. The bike would have clearly been totaled acording to the list of repairs. But they didn't actually fix anything. The bike was sold the next day to another customer before I could even sign a release form so it was clearly not totaled in the way they described. Now I have to go to court with, Motolease and prove that I am inocent and didn't damage the bike. Do not under any circumstances do business with them. They are very sheisty and will get as much money from you as possible! Ronnie, the head guy there is a huge crook!

I recently moved to the St. Petersburg area, and had some trouble selling my BMW cycle the traditional way. I called Eco Green Machine on Park st about selling my cycle to them. They said they weren't able to purchase it, but offered to consign it on their showroom floor, So we met at a price & I signed the VERY VAGUE consignment form.



DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, THEY ARE CROOKS!!! ESPECIALLY DON'T TALK OR WORK WITH RONNIE POWNALL. He is the most unethical buisness person I have ever done buisness with.... It clearly stated on the consingment, that if there was anything that needed to be repaired/replaced on my cycle, that they would require my approval before any work would be done. THEY DID NOT CONTACT ME AT ALL!! THEY DECIDED TO REPLACE MY FRONT TIRE BEFORE CONTACTING ME. I confirmed with Ronnie Pownall, that if I sold my cycle myself, that I could pick the cycle up and pay the $100 detail fee at that time. When I showed up, Ronnie Pownall told me that I couldn't have my cycle back until I payed for not only the $100 detail fee, BUT ALSO THE NEW TIRE THEY PUT ON THAT I DIDNT ASK TO BE PUT ON MY CYCLE. SO IT COST ME $220 TO PICK MY OWN PROPERTY.......... If you have to go there ask for Theron he is a stand up guy!!! The rest that I dealt with are shady!!! AGAIN DO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH THIS UNETHICAL CYCLE SHOP.......... RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been reading Eco-Green Machines "not so good" reviews for years but I had faith that their Management & Staff have also been reading these reviews and must have made much improvements to stay in business. Well, I was convinced by their latest ads that read "It has been through our service department, has been serviced and inspected...Plus 30 day Pre-Owned Warranty on all bikes" to think that would equate to a BAD experience for me. So, on 2/11/13 I finally decided to buy a bike from them and BOY was I WRONG!



The custom painted 2011 Suzuki Katana 600 bike I selected in person was NOT pre-inspected & fully serviced like advertised. But I was not aware of this until AFTER they QUICKLY walked me to the BACK sales room and had me sign financial papers with LARGE $399.99 DEALER FEES and swipe my debit card for the down payment. HOURS later I was told by my sales person the bike is NOT ready and to go home and pick it up tomorrow. Tomorrow NEVER happened. The bike I bought was NOT ready for 2 more weeks due to the ENGINE had to be replaced. Also they would not tell me how many miles were on it. Was there an ENGINE SWAP going on in the back service department? On 2/25/13 they called & said it was ready. I came in to pick up the bike and noticed BOTH side mirrors were MISSING so I had to hunt for my sales person and had them install store shelf aftermarket ones. After waiting, I had the bike towed to my home not realizing there was going to be FUEL & OIL LEAKING. What a MESS!



First, on 2/28/13 I PAID to have it TOWED back to them with a NOTE to FIX these PROBLEMS because I could not get anybody to answer the phone. All they quickly did was BAND-AID the problems because fuel & oil was still leaking after I had the bike BACK home again. The second time on 3/2/13 I called and spoke with the service department they had an attitude & did not want to hear from me so I spoke to their friendly Management on 3/4/13 & I PAID to have it TOWED to them AGAIN for the second time on 3/13/13 to completely fix it...right? Well, on 3/15/13 the service department called with a message "the bike is ready & you can call". So before the next pick up I called back on 3/16/13 and asked if there are any more leaking fluids and they replied saying "no" & "this & that was done and I can come and get it"! I trusted them and had it towed back to my home again on 3/19/13 feeling much better. WRONG AGAIN, because to this day 3/31/13 I may have test ridden the bike no more than a few yards "in FEAR" around my home. Because the bike could catch on FIRE or EXPLODE due to the gas & oil leakage. It STILL HAS FUEL DRIPPING at the FUEL KNOB & running down the custom painted fairings & OIL LEAKING and making a mess inside the lower fairing.



The 30 day warranty "WHAT WARRANTY" is now over and there will NOT be a third CALL or TOW to PINELLAS POWERSPORTS because I CANNOT trust them with my LIFE. In spite of them instructing me to "Ride it home and you don't need a tow". The COST of these TOWS should have been reimbursed. And most importantly I cannot let my FRUSTRATION of their UNTRUE SALES ADS & POOR SERVICE consume me anymore. So, my current plans are to let the bike sit SINCE IT CANNOT BE RIDDEN & save some of my hard earned money and WALK my bike I bought from THEM to someone who takes pride in their work like Ground-Up Customs or Buy Here Pay Here Motorsports and have it fixed CORRECTLY with worry free confidence.

I bought my first bike here, and despite a very shoddy service dept. I was happy with my choice. I say shoddy service because they changed out my rear tire once and forgot to replace a bolt in the rear brake assembly. I lost my rear brake on the highway. A innocent mistake I thought...till I asked them to take a look at my transmission and was told it was done. Then told by the store manager that they could not undo the bolts to get the casing off. I looked at the nuts. They weren't touched. Then I'm told by the mechanic that the nuts were to tight, yet he's standing next to an air wrench. No more service done here.



Recently I fell in love with a new bike, I went to look at it and the sales manager (a guy named Dan) did not answer my questions. He seemed to be shocked that I had knowledge of bikes and their operation. He had the bike overpriced and would not, or could not, provide a service history for me. Sorry but two strikes is two many. I'm not a fool...and you don't treat your customers as one.

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE . Service manger will make up stories to cover his behind.. Did the 500 miles service and then 2 days later ( about 9pm) it quit running, I checked the oil the next day and it was bone dry. took it back and was told to cal the next day about 3pm it was then I was told by the service manger he was voiding my warranty. I got 2 different stories from him. Then I went to see the Manager of this place and service manager gave him a different story. They are not truthful.

BUYER BEWARE !!! sold u s a br...

BUYER BEWARE !!! sold u s a brand new Scooter ,that never ran didn't stand by their warranty .Charge us a couple hundred dollars to have it fixed couldn't fix it , after a few different attempts at trying to fix it ,Still has same problem, still doesn't run .Spend your money some where else.
