Austin Regional Clinic: ARC Pflugerville

The only reason this place got 2 whole stars from me is that Dr. Powell is Awesome! He is pleasent and very helpful and is just a good doctor. But thats about all the compiments I can give this place. The receptionists ALWAYS seem to be in bad moods, no smiles or hello's and are always very short. I would only go here if you absolutley have to, because if you have a problem whether that be with insurance, dr's instructions, or prescription questions it is just about IMPOSSIBLE to get through to ANYBODY during the day..UNLESS you have the luxuery of being able to sit and hold on the phone for no LESS THAN 30 MINS AT A TIME ? ? !! Unfort I not only had to this once but like 3 or 4 times...we are talking about having to hold for over 2 hours ! ! And when they finally do pick up they do not care if you had to wait for an ungodly amount of time and usually do not even apologize for the wait. Since it is a regional clinic you do sort of feel like just a number..One time i went in and saw Dr.Powell for an appt i had scheduled weeks before in advance..it was a 9 am appt...my name wasnt even call until 10:15 am !! They over schedule their dotors and try to fit in any and everybody they can so they just can get more $$$...it took another 45mins to an HR just for him to make it into my room..and because they were so busy he wasnt able to refill my prescription until almost the end of the day and that was the whole point of why i scheduled and early appt ! Stay away...unless going to Dr.Powell...but you have been warned
